To be honest, as long as you understand the game mechanics, you're only as good as the cards you draw and the time spent thinking on the appropriate play during that turn. There is skill involved in Hearthstone, the skills are Mathematics and precise contemplation.
For the first few weeks after buying 100 Gadgetzan packs, I decided to keep unloading the gold I've earned on gadgetzan packs. I've done the occasional Arena, but as of now, I'm not very good at going up in the Arena ranks, so I tend to just get the packs I want straight away; by-passing the possibility of not getting exactly what I want through arena.
I was thinking that even if I continue getting Gadgetzan packs, it wouldn't be that bad because I'd always have the small chance of getting a legendary, or having 40 dust (because of owning all commons and rares of Gadgetzan) from the most common payout of 4 commons and 1 rare.
As the new expansion is approaching, should I keep on buying Gadgetzan packs and just get the usual chance at legendary or 40 dust, or does anyone else have a suggestion on a more valuable way to spend my gold.
Actually it is exactly as intended. Please refrain from opening threads when there are discussions like these going on already in other threads. There are already a couple of threads on this topic such as:
Please use the search feature of the site next time so as not to create duplicate threads.
I did, I did not find any thread of this card topic
Well maybe there is nothing on Grimestreet Outfitter specifically, but there are plenty of discussions on the Grimy Goons Hand Buff Mechanic and people asking for it to be removed. I just used the search term "grimy goons" and found several discussions on this issue. Anyway just giving you my 2 cents. As far as the issue is concerned I don't find it to be that big a deal. From the three factions, Grimy Goons is the most likely to stand the test of time, since new cards that synergise with its theme are likely to be printed, whereas the Kabal faction in unlikely to get any new Highlander legendaries for a while (according to the devs) and the Jade Lotus isn't getting any new Jade Golem cards, so I don't think it is that big a deal.
If there aren't any Grimestreet Outfitter threads, I think it's fair to add one, so if someone has the same thought as I had, they don't have to search far. It's a perfectly fine thread.

I play whenever I have time. Having the ability to create decks with a massive collection of cards brings the creativity out of me, and a lot of satisfaction to boot!
Grimestreet Outfitter has a major flaw, and that is knowing how many minions are in the opponents hand. It allows you to become hyper aggressive to clear out the opposing board, you can almost count how many minions he might have from then on!
And of course you could say that any card with death-rattle could sort of fit into your description as well, but I expect that's not what you were looking for. Hope this helps :)

Backroom Bouncer paired with Brann Bronzebeard a few Injured Kvaldir and a couple Injured Blademaster's, I must say, it could be interesting to watch. I thought about this this morning as I was theorycrafting!
