This card is going to be the payoff to druid for a while. It's amazing there.
Druid already runs Scale of Onyxia and Raid Boss Onyxia. I could see them replacing Spammy Arcanist with Flipper Friends, then maybe even running a beast package with Ozumat and Frostsaber Matriarch.
I am not so worried about this card leading to degenerate, solitaire OTK's. Prince Renathal and armor mean that getting the exact amount of damage to deal lethal - like priests used to do with Inner Fire combos - are more difficult then they used to be in the past.
In druid, that is another case though. This card can totally close out games! Thanks to Wildheart Guff, Druid can easily play this alongside Brann Bronzebeard. Ozumat + Two Scales + Raid Boss Onyxia with Brann is 56 damage, and you can get that up to 84 with two Flipper Friends.
Ignoring Druid, this card is usable in Warlock and Rogue as well, but more likely for its ability to swing the board and heal then its ability to finish the game outright. It's notable that its body is 10/10 with Lifesteal as well. A single hit with that, even with a modest amount of Infusions, will still bring you back up to full.
Unlike Neptulon the Tidehunter, which competed with Raid Boss Onyxia for deck space, this card is generally great to go alongside Onyxia.

Lyfe posted a message on New Expansion Teaser - Expansion Announcement On Monday The 27th!Posted in: NewsI hope it isn't Shadowlands themed and is just specifically themed around Castle Nathria. As somebody that has raided since TBC, Sire Denathrius has been one of my favorite villains/boss fights in the game. Looking forward to Remornia
But regardless of the outcome. Everyone, take your positions! It is time for the danse macabre!

xskarma posted a message on Everybunny Get In Here is This Week's Tavern BrawlPosted in: NewsI thought this too, but, then I realized it is to keep in sync with the Battlegrounds Lobby Legends event, which is also named "Noblegarden".
Noblegarden is not actually easter, it's only supposed to be somewhat reminiscent. So they probably figured that as long as it was still in Spring and vaguely in the correct time frame that it was good enough? idk

zynessa posted a message on Game Reveal - Warcraft Universe Mobile Game - Warcraft Arclight Rumble!Posted in: NewsI am quite sure that it will not be a flop (at least in the short term). People like and spend on this kind of game like Clash Royale.
Anyway, the questions are different.
- Is it a good game? No. It is a copy of Clash Royale. We already have a lot of these games.
- Is it innovative? No.
- Is it what customers want? No. This video now has 6k likes and 22k dislikes on youtube so I am pretty sure that customers don't want this
- Is it in the Blizz's standards? No. It is very far from Blizz's standards like WOW, Diablo and Starcraft
These are things that make money in the short run. In the long run, they destroy a company's reputation. A company that makes mobile games with in-game purchases is crappy and untrustable for a serious quality product. Blizz had a reputation as an innovative company that produced the highest quality products. Now? A company that copies products that work to make money. Can it work? Maybe or maybe not in the long run. But the reputation is destroyed. Certainly looking at Blizz no longer sees innovation and originality. And for sure, we can see a company that uses customer feedback in the toilet. Because they knew that customers didn't want this, they already had previous experience with Diablo Immortal.
I feel like the people here are overlooking the fact that they're not even the target audience for the game either. Anyone who is enough of a nerd to go on goddamn forums is *NOT* who they're marketing this game for. Anyone who gives a shit about Warcraft, is also not who they're marketing the game for. The game is marketed for the mobile market. They're diversifying into an audience they haven't yet captured. No amount of forum outrage can make this game flop, because none of the people who would write angry posts on forums are people they're trying to rope in.
Quick edit: to be clear, this game can absolutely flop, but it can't flop because of outrage by dedicated fans of the IP. Saying you're not gonna spend money on it is absolutely inconsequential when it's not your money they're trying to get. -

Lounr posted a message on Pirate warrior needs more supportPosted in: General DiscussionSo even though pirate warrior is getting more and more support every expansion it's still far from viable deck. I want to share my ideas how to make this deck viable at least at low ranks.
Miss Smite - 6 mana 5/6 Neutral Legendary pirate - Your pirates have windfury.
Fathaarrr Benedictus - 5 mana 4/6 Warrior Legendary pirate - Start of the game: If minions in your deck are all pirates give all pirates in your hand and deck divine shield.
Seabound Inquisitor - 8 mana 8/8 Neutral rare pirate - rush, cost 1 less for every pirate you have. After you hero attacks an enemy this attacks it twice.
Smiteful Summoner - 6 mana 4/4 Neutral epic pirate - Battlecry: Reveal highest cost legendary pirate from your deck. Summon random legendary pirate with the same cost.
Patches the Buccaneer - 1 mana 1/1 Neutral legendary pirate - Battlecry: After you play this summon random pirate from your deck.
Your thoughts?

The Fisherman
"I can wait and fish all day!" -Pagle, Nat.
Relax and hook on your victories playing as the Fisherman. He may not be the strongest or fastest, but is definitely the more fishy one.
Nat Pagle is here to give us a nice and relaxing time in front of the water. Just like fishing, the idea behind the class is a slow game. Gain tempo for later turns and control the board. I'm looking mostly for paladin and priest cards as comparison (and hunter, kind of).
Go Fishing is the Hero power that adds a fish to the top of your deck and is summoned later on, for a small tempo. The deck of the fisherman is like the 'bucket' into which he stores his fish, rather than the sea/river where he ACTUALLY fishes. This will be the board and the cards themselves. There will be cards that synergize with the hero power and fishing minions from the deck later on.
Class' main features:

Some last minute changes were made and I cut out some cards in favor of others. Also decided to submit them at once for I don't know if I will be able to access the forum the last day. But they will RETURN in the initiate set! The other cards:

Is it hate?

Is it free time?
Is it a masterpiece? Yes.

For clarification, our new classes don't NEED to have a new keyword, right? I got unsure, because all classes shown here have one xD

Both say the battlecry will trigger twice. Not "one more time" for each one. It is working as expected.

"Good news, everyone! I think I perfected a plague that will destroy all life on Azeroth!" - Professor Putricide
The Scientist
"Mad" for not being remembered in the scientists' expansion, the greatest mind of the Scourge hails for vengeance. The Scientist class will count with the power of science to take down the opponent's plans.
As for the class identity, it will consist mostly of card generation, AoE damage, poisonous and freezing minions, many random effects (we may never know the outcome of an experience, right?) and synergy with spells and the Concoctions, new mechanic of the Scientist's Hero Power. Upcoming sets will also feature deathrattles and secrets. It won't have good card draw, however, due to the card generation, and overall the gameplay is more reactive than offensive.
Concoctions are 1 mana spells that do something simple, slightly better than a regular Hero Power. This feature was inspired by Shaman's totems and the Spare parts:
