I haven't helped as much as I would've liked this time around for you guys outside of typo-finding and polishing, but I hope you guys can help me out! I'll definitely give you a very deserved shoutout and appreciate you for the work you put into it <3
Thanks a lot guys and good luck!
how can you tell? have some results been announced or are you going by points?
@Cogito_Ergo_Sum for the banner.
Very sketchy math, as I believe a little close to half of the entries are going to Phase II
and if @Cogito_Ergo_Sum could make one I would appreciate that so much!!!

Yeah, I was going to say something about the art as well...there's plenty of decent art featuring Rehgar out there, especially since he became a character in HoTs...the cartoony thing really doesn't fit very well.
I wouldnt rly say there is plenty of decent art out there. Only other two decent pics iv found r these
but the first one is more shaman-y than anything and the second one id like to save for DK card (if i get that far lol) :X To be honest, i dont even like the second one, but he at least looks (un)dead-ish there, so i can use it for something.
Well, Rehgar is literally a shaman. He's a member of the Earthen Ring (at least in Legion). Nothing wrong with him being a gladiator and a shaman, it doesn't mean that he can't be the face of your gladiator class.
Or maybe just change the idea of gladiator into sham--- waittttt a minute
Something like this? I think this would be sexy as hell to have as your Hero @Sinti :)!
Yeah, that looks pretty cool, but not rly gladiator-like and i like Rehgar as a character, thats why i picked him, so i want to keep him as the main guy :)
Oh I gotcha-- I read your Gladiator background. Sounds good man I wish you the best!!
The
Predator Class
, as represented by Alalirith is thematically focused on targeting the right prey, and hunting down your victims.
Hunt the Weak
is the Hero Power and essentially sidekick to the
Predator.
It is simple and sweet where it acts as a ping that finishes off weakened enemies (following that predator theme). It is better than
Reinforce
in terms of removal and trading, but weaker in terms of aggressive face pressure where it cannot attack heroes.
Hunt
is the new exclusive Keyword for
Predator
in which is core to the mechanics of the class. It essentially acts as if the card was "hunting" another target and is waiting patiently for the right time to strike. This tempo-oriented, skill focused Keyword would separate players in their decision making; "Should I reveal this minion and deny the
Hunt
effect, or should I decline to attack and use the effect's value instead?"
Card Explanations:
Waystalker
is one of the Classic cards for the Predator which utilizes the
Hunt
ability which gives the player the option to either attack, or use the ability to kill of a minion they would've otherwise needed to trade into. Thematically, the
Waystalker
is a card that stalks down weakened opponents and finish them off with an arrow to the temple.
Panther Rider
is an Epic card in the MSoG Expac that is a great finisher for the
Predator.
The 5/5 Stealthed body makes for a great trading tool as well as a threat on the board that upon death (the Rider falls off the Panther), summons ANOTHER Stealthed body in the form of
Jungle Panther
.
Premeditated Attack
is the Basic bread-and-butter card for
Hunt
decks that thematically exposes the hunting minions from their hideouts to perform an epic attack all at once. Combined with just the new card,
The Predator
, it can make for a great removal option and leave giant bodies on the board. It all depends on how this card is used, and there are many ways it can be.
New World Hunter
is from the Ungoro Expac, utilizing the
Hunt
ability to Adapt, as if the "New World" creature was adapting to its jungle surroundings. As it Adapts to its targets, it could potentially grow to be unstoppable early game value card, or just a playable 2/3 minion that is good on its own.
The Predator
is the last card of the Example Card set, and probably one of the most interesting. It plays off from the movie and ties in really well with the jungle and hunting thematics of this class. I think the artwork as well as the design of the card makes it to be a great card to fit in a
Hunt
deck, or a card that will lead to a huge tempo swing. The stats on its own force it to be
combo
'd with cards like
Premeditated Attack
and make for extremely fun back-and-forth games.
I've gone 12 Wins three times this expansion, all with Hunter. I average a 10win average with Hunter (and it's also my main class I play for ranked for ranked with 600+ Wins, so I understand the subtle mechanics of piloting tempo/midrange hunter decks). I believe that the reason for all this success with Hunter is because every other class is offered crazy good late game value cards, but that's not wins games anymore because you're simply going to play against another super greedy deck. This makes Hunter, the fastest/aggressive class, the most dominant because it doesn't need to outvalue/sustain the opponent, he'll rush them down and outtempo them early before they can drop those Legendaries and AOE Removals and let them recover.
Not including Hunter, I average a wimpy 5win average over a couple runs, but keep in mind I ALWAYS PICK HUNTER WHEN OFFERED
And make sure to use Heartharena and game knowledge to draft a busted deck each time
IF your deck sucks, make sure to get card draw and early game minions, because you'll never outvalue your opponent with trash, but you can rush them down
I agree hunter is a strong class i'm glad my favorite class in priest is up there too and has a decent matchup against hunter, My last 2 arenas just sum up how arena is right now though, First one was a paladin draft i expected to go 7 wins atleast and it ended 5/3 with all 3 losses coming to hunters, Second one is a priest which is the worst priest draft i've had this expansion with the only late game being one mindcontrol, One free from amber and two corridor creepers and its sitting at 7/0 right now oddly being carried by two elixers which seem to be return this minion to your hand constantly.
Personally i hate heartharena but what i hate more than heartharena are people who complain about netdecking and then use heartharena like Kripp for example, Complains about everyone using the same decks and no one being original.........Then uses a addon that tells him what cards to pick thats exactly the same, Dont know what deck is best to ladder look the best decks up and play one of them, Dont know what cards to play in arena let a addon pick them for you.......Such a sad sight when you see him looking at a card and then seeing the value pop up on another card and "Oh if you say so" and picks the card with the higher value instead, I see the value in heartharena i just dont use it myself but if you're someone who uses it and nothing against those who do its a great addon but if you do then you have no right at all to complain about netdecking because you're doing the equivalent on netdecking in arena when you use heartharena, You're playing the best deck avaliable to you and not because you're good a deck building but because your deck was made for you.

Hey guys, It looks like I'm making it through to the next phase so I need to step up my game!
I'm looking for someone to make me an epic banner that says "The Predator"
I would love it if it had a Jungle and Hunter type theme to represent what my class is all about; This is my entry if anyone is interested!
I haven't helped as much as I would've liked this time around for you guys outside of typo-finding and polishing, but I hope you guys can help me out! I'll definitely give you a very deserved shoutout and appreciate you for the work you put into it <3
Thanks a lot guys and good luck!

Here's my breakdown of Arena atm:
Hunter >>> Priest/Mage (Who counter Hunter) >>> Warlock/Druid > Everything Else
