I have mixed feelings about bane of doom, when it spawns a blood imp I get pissed off. But when I get an infernal or felguard for example, it feels like cheating.

Different people, different opinions. I for one think it is an awesome addition : )

Hah, for me it was the exact opposite. I struggled a bit with the basic decks against the AI before, but after the wipe it was very easy.
Guess it is just as much RNG against the AI as against players.

My first pack after the wipe gave me 1 epic (pyroblast) 1 rare (siphon soul). All in all I got 4 epic cards and 4 golden rare cards.
Nothing interesting compared to my previous cards, but oh well.

Only had 22 packs to open so not surprising i didn't get a lot of the cards I wanted :)

I once forced myself to concede because of my own card-draw..  was trying out the priest and had 2 northshire cleric on the field a lightwell and a bunch of other minions that where damaged. And silly me cast a holy nova and ended up drawing half my deck i'm sure.

Not to mention it took forever with the slow animations for each effect. So card draw is nice (and needed IMO, to keep momentum). But too much is more harmful than good. I had to learn the hard way : )

My first arena (and so far only one) went horrible to say the least!
I picked druid, since I kinda like the druid's versatility. Got absolutely horrible cards and ended up with a very very weird deck. Ended with 3 loss in a row =/

I hope they increase the gold from winning and quests, as it is now you kinda have to pay to enter the arena. Or grind all day and hope you get many easy wins.

I don't have a screenshot sadly, but I hit someone for 40 with either a lightwell  or an oasis snapjaw, not entirely sure. Totally unnecessary overkill, but damn it was fun!

Was probably a snapjaw though, since it has 7 health to start with, compared to lightwell's 5. could have been bigger (52), but I had used 1 PW:shield earlier :)

I was bored with my opponent that was taking extremely long turns, so I played around with the board. And I kept regrowing vegetables in that little garden patch, over and over and over again. When suddenly instead of a vegetable popping up, it was a boot. Yes really, a boot.

So my question is then, what else lies buried beneath the dirt ?!

I can't remember all the details, but i've had several games where I was losing badly. Only to turn it around and win, feels extra good if the opponent is taunting you with /threaten all the time.

One game I remember I was on 1 health, had no cards out or in hand. 10 mana to spend, and I draw a "card draw" card (spell-power) and a hard hitting spell, which was just enough to take out my opponent with. Think it was starfire :)

Not exactly "skill", but it sure feels great to have luck like that.
