Similar boat, I’ve been playing HS since before Naxx, so almost since the very beginning. I hit legend for the first time back in August and then this past month (January). For me it’s a really difficult grind. I main mage - I have 3300 wins with Jaina and my only other golden hero is warlock. I managed to hit legend the first time with Reno Mage, but after spending the next 4 months bouncing between ranks 4-2, I got frustrated and switched to galakrond control warlock and I don’t want to jinx myself but it was the easiest climb I’ve had. It doesn’t feel like it has an unwinnable matchup, and also isn’t being played much. Highly recommend giving it a try. The one I used was from vicious syndicate.
