+1 Chillmaw. Good to defend yourself against aggro, specially followed by a Tirion. Also, a 7-drop, which the game lacks (normally you would have to play a 6-drop and float one mana or coin out an 8-drop).
+1 Book Wyrm. Amazing card, great range of objectives, also a dragon to trigger other effects.
+2 Keeper of Uldaman. Very flexible, buff your 1/1's or control big enemy minions (Rag)
You might also want to consider to swap both Nightbane Templar for Blackwing Technician. The 3/5 is just much more difficult to kill: Shamans can spirit claws+maelstrom portal to clear it and warriors fiery war axe+ravaging ghoul. It's up to you though.
Rend Blackhand: many decks don't even have legendaries: midrange hunter, aggro/midrange shaman, dragon warrior. He will seat in your hand all the match and you will never find a good moment to play it
Alexstrasza: not good enough as you will probably not be able to finish the game the next turn. It works for warrior because of Grommash + Inner Rage combo. I would personally replace it with Onyxia.
Deathwing, Dragonlord: every time I've had this in my deck it's been an utter disappointment. It's good in paper, and it's nice to bring all the dragons in your hand out, but your curve is already too high, you really don't need another big minion, it lacks tempo, and takes your whole turn.
Since your goal is to survive until the late game, I would suggest adding one Mulch ot two, probably as replacement for Starfire. Low cost and can kill everything, and te minion the oppnent gets most of the time ends up being irrelevant
I made a standard N'Zoth druid that sits remarkably well in the current meta. It got me to rank 5, which was a lucky break for me. At first I thought I would make a ramp druid, but it turns out to be more of a tempo deck.
Thanks for the positive feedback. As for the Harrison Jones replacement, I've been thinking a bit more about it.
I experimented at the beginning of the season by using two azure drakes but didn't get convinced. Card draw is good, spellpower is a nice addition, and a 4/4 for 5 mana is not all that bad, but most of the time I felt that I could be playing something better instead. If it was a beast instead of a dragon I would consider including it though. If having just one works for you then go for it.
Despite what I say in this deck's description about Stranglethorn Tiger not having enough tempo for my taste, maybe just one copy of it could work.
Two Stampeding Kodo instead of one might work as well. Adds more consistency to the deck, i's a beast, and the effect is good against many different decks.
I used to play Dark Iron Dwarf in this deck as well back when I also played 2 infested wolves, and dropped the dwarf due to having too many 4 drops. Putting one copy back in the deck instead of Harrison might give good results: very solid statline and +2 attack enables good trades and extra face damage.
Again, the best thing to do is to experiment by yourself and see what gives best results overall, although I understand that experimenting at rank 6 can be a little bit risky.
Acidic Swamp Ooze has a similar effect but it's not worth it (in my opinion) because that would be having too many 2 drops and you don't get the card draw Harrison gives. I guess I'd throw a Carrion Grub as a replacement if I had to, but Harrison is just too good in the current meta.
If Carrion Grub doesn't cut it for you I invite you to experiment and tell me your results :)
looks nice but i would drop one unleash and on the hunt and add a second houndmaster and Harrison Jones (he has been giving me amazing results this whole season).
this midrange hunter deck i made has carried me up to rank 3. In the link you can also see explanations as to wether to keep some cards or not and the reasons, as well as it's general performance against meta decks.

Basically, remove explosive trap and one copy of unleash. To drop stranglethorn tiger, hunter's mark and infested wolf is up to you, but i recommend it. I also REALLY recommend to put Harrison Jones in your deck if you have space.
More card draw never hurts. Use it to find lethal or, in some cases as a play for turn 5/6/7 if your hand is not too good. Despite it's mana cost, i would recommend to never play it in turn 1 and to hold it for as long as possible. Also very useful to get rid of low mana minions you don't want to draw into in the late game.
I just wanted to share this deck so that other players can try it, get ideas from it or give me their opinion about it. It's a midrange deck that has got me to rank 3 so far this season. More info in the link.

-1 Sir Finley Mrrgglton. Not needed in my opinion.
-1 Jeweled Scarab. Too many unwanted draws (neutral minions, divine favor, etc)
-1 The Curator. Not worth it without the beast and the murloc, which are not good enough
-2 Wild Pyromancer. Too much control for a dragon deck

+1 Onyxia / Ysera / Chromaggus. Just good end game dragons

Try removing the following cards:
Starfall: the cost is just too high and the damage not enough. You'll find yourself not being able to kill things like Ragnaros the Firelord, Ancient of War , Flamewreathed Faceless, etc, and not having mana for a follow up.
Mounted Raptor: sticky, but no dragon sinergy. Play Faerie Dragon instead.
Rend Blackhand: many decks don't even have legendaries: midrange hunter, aggro/midrange shaman, dragon warrior. He will seat in your hand all the match and you will never find a good moment to play it

As others have already said, add Dark Arakkoa and/or Ancient of War
You might want to try Baron Geddon, as Swipe is quite often not enough as AoE

I would replace Acolyte of Pain with something else. Unlike warriors and mages, you will most likely struggle to get full value out of it.

Yogg druid is pretty good as well. Just google it and find the variation that you like the most. You can get to legend with it.

Thanks! Always nice to hear about a fellow hunter having success in ladder.
