Alnilam6581 posted a message on ShudderwockPosted in: ShudderwockWatch the stream, Brode says it's in order but then get corrected by a pm to says it's random. Also if you just watch it being played it's clearly in a different order each time the opponent (Paladin) plays it.

Naccarat posted a message on ShudderwockPosted in: ShudderwockTurn 4 - Saronite Chain Gang
Turn 5 - Nightblade
Turn 6 - Grumble, Worldshaker
Turn 9 - Shabberwock - it copies himself, deals dmg and bounces back his copy to hand (with 1 mana cost)
Turn 10 - play 1 mana copy, repeat until victoryFor more consistency, play Lifedrinkers, and play the new 4 mana 2/4 which can fetch an elemental ( Grumble, Worldshaker

Magikurp posted a message on New Legendary Mage Card Reveal - Archmage ArugalPosted in: NewsYou won't see this on these comment threads often, but you're right. I guess the cheapness and flexibility of the card prevented me from seeing the bigger picture. It's just not enough to have a card that synergizes with exactly two other cards in your deck especially in a decklist as tight as OTK mage.

Well, and this is why i didnt put Hagatha in my deck lol. I don't understand ?

At least 80% of your wins won't finish with an OTK, this is only a mere possibility of the deck, but you shouldn't count on it. And if you're not a fan of decks like that, well I guess you could just go look at other decks right ?
Btw, I'd bet 5 dollars that Shudderwock won't be nerfed. The playtesting of such a card is way easier than for Yogg'saron. Yogg casts random spells in the entire game. This one can only cast battlecries of shaman and neutral minions, and only those you put in your deck. So I believe it was pretty easy for them to test out all the possibilities. If hearthstone community was able to spot such a combo in a matter of some hours, I highly doubt the dev team didnt check for overpoweredness of such combos.

Sludge belcher was the best NEUTRAL taunt in the game because the opponent always lost at least 2 attacks. This is completely different.

First of all, why are you talking about Bogshaper ? I don't have it in my deck.
And secondly, you seem to have never ever played a combo deck. A guy like you would have said 1 year ago : "What ? you put novice engineer in your deck ? A 2 mana 1/1 !!!! Arcane intellect a 3 mana do nothing ?! And Cabalist Tome, seriously a 5 MANA DO NOTHING ?!!!! This is a fucking tempo disaster !!!!" 2 years ago "You play MOONFIRE ?!! A card that deals 1 DMG ?! better read "this card does nothing !!"
Please go play some hearthstone and especially learn what card draw is worth in terms of average mana.
PS : Don't get me wrong, of course this will most likely be destroyed by aggro decks, exactly like any combo deck in the history of hearthstone (except the WILD combo druid, but yeah wild), but we need to test it first before saying anything and we can't refine a list until we play it for real .
The thing that really grinds my gears, is that out of all shudderwock decks posted on hearthpwn, i feel to have been the one who banked the most on survivability, so i believe your comment is out of place.

hi man :)
Nope it won't repeat his battlecry : It's answer i made for a similar question ->
It doesnt repeat its own battlecry. We can be sure of it because it had been played multiple times on the reveal stream, and it is also consistent with the card's text which clearly says "other battlecries". I agree the meaning of "other" depends on how you understand the sentence, and is becoming an english grammar matter ^^, but i believe it was meant to specifically indicate this.
PS : you can look for witchwood final reveal on youtube if you want to see it with your eyes

yup, there actually many issues still. Patches still has charge on hearthpwn. Gotta believe he's still in charge of something in the end, maybe he is himself hearthpwn's community manager, who knows...

I completely agree with you on that, the decks have a same plan, there are some differences though, one being that we build our combo progressively in the game and don't need to hold onto all our combo pieces in hand like exodia mage, and the other being that the combo itself is more flexible (you can play part of it each turn once the first has been played), for the downside of not being a complete "win the game" like quest mage.
As for the quest aspect you mentioned, exodia mage is actually possible without the quest in wild, and is still not an 80% winrate deck. See my own build for reference :
I managed to have a 60% winrate in rank 4-2 which is pretty good but still doesnt make it an overpowered deck. You are still weak to all aggro decks.

Well in standard, without Ice block, most likely yes. I've thought of a new build that I think is actually possible with book of specters and arugal, but seems quite clunky though.
Besides, of course this deck is better since you use new and funny cards :p !
