All Warlock cards range from playable to OP from this expansion. Literally each one of them. It's effing stupid at this point.
And Blizzard hyped Shaman. Hardly any Shaman card seems OP. I honestly don't think it will have a tier 1 deck, maybe a tier 2 or lower tier 2 deck.
There is 1 good warlock card released this expansion. The rest is mediocre or very niche at best.
Are you serious?
Almost all Warlock cards either support Cubelock heavily, or Zoolock heavily. Might even spawn a mid-range archetype. Warlock definitely got the best set from the expansion. So much so Ben effing Brode already made a statement that if Cubelock is too strong they might have to nerf it. A developer just doesn't make these kind of statements right before an expansion release, there is a major reason for it.
They also held most of the Warlocks reveals for the very last. And after the released the 5 cards, all of them support Cube or Control Lock.
You can't compare it to Maexxna. She came in late and Hunter had better options at that time, also Hunter was primarily aggro. Hyper aggro even.
This time around Hunter will have mid-range, control and OTK decks. This card can see play in them. Although, it will be difficult to add. But in QH or CH, where you lack board presence mid-game, this one is a great option.
It should see play. But Warlocks will easily remove it. So it's questionable.
As I said in another thread. This bias from Blizzard must stop. Literally no other class got these many OP cards. Forget OP cards, they didn't get enough playable cards.
This is better than people give it credit for. It's an assassinate that's blocked by taunts, in a class that has weak hard removal. That can be tutored for/have extra copies produced by stitched tracker. I don't think it's *quite* good enough, but it's notably better than bloatbat level.
Everything is better then bloatbat. It is one of the worst cards ever. The design behind is so awful Blizzard should be ashamed of themselves. It's so bad, it doesn't even work in DK Rex.
This card will be good and even sometimes great in DK Rex. And I believe it is the only reason it was added, besides Blizzard maintaining their consistency with Hunter of course.
I think it works quite well in DK. In fact, I'd argue thats why Hunter has a fair few bad beasts since the DK released (Exploding Bloatbat, Cave Hydra and now this). Simply put, while they're really bad cards on their own, I've lost count of the number of times a Bloatbat/Gastropod mix has saved me while playing DK Rexxar. Bloatbat has plenty of good combos with DK Rexxar as will Cave Hydra and this when they're (finally) added. With the addition of Vicious Scalehide as well, I think DK Rexxar will form the backbone of any Control Hunter.
I hardly get the Bloatbat+Gas combo, maybe that's why I hate the Bat so much.
I always liked Hydra. If it stays alive for a turn, it causes massive board swings especially if you can buff it with Houndmaster (just like Kudo from DK Rex. Sad to see the guy go, saved me so many times).
DK Rex is already saving Hunter from total humiliation. It can carry Spell Hunter when you don't draw Barnes and also allows other Hunter decks to work. I said long time ago that he is the best DK card created. Better then Anduin and Guldan. Anduin and Guldan need initial plays to support them. DK Rex kicks ass all by himself.
You are absolutely right he will allow many CH decks to work, but that's not all, it will allow Hunter decks to work.
According to my games, it has given me an average of 3 extra turns and turned countless games in my favor that I should have lost.
DK Rex is arguably one of the best cards ever designed. And it's not just crazy good, it's crazy fun and surprisingly balanced since the beasts are not free to get.
It might reach OP level in Witchwood. Will have insane board clears at his disposal. Can't wait!

Stupidly good. This will definitely see play in Warlock decks both zoo and control.
Seriously did Warlock really need another low cost board effect card? You can literally echo the shit out of your opponent's board and gain another turn with this.
Worst design then Ice Block since the opponent cant do jack shit and here people thought they were done with the entire uninteractive playstyle.
Blizzard's bias gets out of hand and they really need to stop this bullshit.
Good minion, makes the next expansions interesting. If Blizzard decides to support the archetype and not abandon it like they do most of the time.
Oh, and this is probably the best 5 drop for Hunter in the history of hearthstone, I believe.
You don't need to make a specific archetype for this anyways, you can just play it in any Hunter deck and it will be a high priority target for your opponent.

More ways to destroy the Cube. This time with more board control and pressure.
Then Ben Brode makes statements like "maybe Cubelock is strong? We MIGHT look into it."

Bog Creeper replacement in Arena. This one will be better I think. Will take down more minions then Boggy.

Arena card.
Don't see the use in Control or Zoo.

Good card.
It's a bit greedy but control decks will try to fit it. What will you use it on though?
