About Me

Hi, my name is Adam, and I’ve been playing Hearthstone since Season 1 back in 2014. Back in those earlier years I played a ton of arena, but I never quite took it very seriously. I’ve had my fair share of 12 win runs, over 2000+ overall wins even, but my average win rate was probably only about 3 or 4 per run at the very best. I’ve been on and off Hearthstone for the past few years now as a very casual player, very rarely playing any arena at all, but just recently I’ve found new motivation.. a curiosity.. to see how good I could actually be if I really tried my absolute best!

My goal is simple.. enter the arena as a casual, and come out the other side as an infinite arena player!

And this blog is going to help me do that. I created this blog so I could document my entire process from casual to infinite, and I’m going to document my journey with posts that I create under the following categories:

The Road to Infinite series: A weekly series where I give a general overview of how my progress to become an infinite arena player is going. I’ll go over how my runs went for the week, my learning process and what strategies I used that week to improve my skills. Ideally, I’ll be using a new strategy every week or every other week to boost my learning. I want to be sure I’m as transparent and detailed as possible with how I’m going about improving every single week, so you can follow the exact path I took to getting better.

The Class Studies series: A series that I will be performing every arena rotation where I go through every class (and neutrals of course) and try to identify their strengths and weaknesses for the rotation. The goal is not just to separate the good cards from the bad, but more importantly to identify what type of deck strategy each class wants to strive for, based on the cards they are given in the current rotation.

Guides / Reviews: As I grow more and more experienced, I will eventually be making fully realized guides that you can use to improve your skills. The guides will be based on my experiences through this journey, and I hope you’ll find good use in them.

Please feel free to comment on anything you’d like, feedback is just another tool we can all use to get better. My hope with this blog is not just to help me be the best arena player that I can be, but to help you as well. Hopefully, following my journey will help you become infinite as well!
