I hate this kind of decks so much when I play against them. I honestly would feel bad to play it.... In my opinion decks like that destroys Hearthstone. And Blizzard is to only one to blame for.
But pretty often after getting first Snake you know you have like 3 turns to do something, or most likely you're dead. I'm not sure will this fix the problem. But I also understand the attempt to nerf, but still keep it in play instead of nerf too much and destroy it.
Damn.... this deck.... It's really not easy to control....but still even an average player as me is winning with it.. I don't know how, why, but yeah, it's working.
Oh, I love theorycraft day so much. Can't wait for seeing some new crazy combos and ideas. For now I have a feeling, like this expansion look poor on paper. But I'm very bad at reading and seeing possibilities from cards, so I'm propably wrong.
I feel like I'm the most unlucky guy, while playing this deck. Control DK - 26 cards taken out from deck, and no Astalor..... On 3 games against blood DK it happened to me 2 times... I also struggle with shadow priest... And on D5 there is a lot of'em
One of two decks I'm worried about. Invincible Warlock and "delete your opponents" Warrior deck. If this deck would work, everyone would start putting some silence minion, or spell. With warrior is a little bit worse, cause once he swap deck, change all the cards into minions, give them back and remove all cards, there is nothing more you can do...
The cards are already in the game, since update has been done. So usually codes should work, but make a deck with transparent cards of new expansion, since you don't own them yet.
I need to add an annotation. So I was still trying the deck, and results with every game were better and better. I was able to take down Blood DK with few Astalor's battlecry in one turn. And it was the only time I managed to make the combo. Other games I just bored my enemies by constant freezing turn after turn. Now there is one game I need to present you. It's Quest Hunter. The way I finished the game is just bonkers.
I knew I can't play with Astalor, so I took risk by freezing and copying Tavish, and playing it. I didn't know he will repeat the same hero power, but it actually did. Awesome game.
I don't know, maybe I'm not good enough for this deck, but for me it's very hard to win game with it. Blood DK stole my Bolner and Brann, destroyed Astalor (game over), Rogue made so much pressure and made faster Astalor than me (game over). Shadow Priest overwhelm the board, and I still couldnt get the key combo cards. So I defended, freezed, but still sooner or later he got me.... It's very hard and tricky to control this deck. And to get the combo, having some of key card that are in need for the combo it's just pretty slow, before you get ready.
I've beat legend with this deck. And it's not usual for me to hit legend (in previous year I couldn't hit legend even once. Could'nt brake throught DK army at D1 with Evolve shaman. So I swapped into this one, won 6 games in a row and voila!
I had terrible start with this deck. 0-5. I felt so frustrated after so many loses. Then, when I decided next lost I'm gonna remove the deck, something clicked. I started winning. I don't know if I needed few games to fully understand the tempo (depending on the opponent), or something else, but it just started to work. So far - even after nerfs - I got 23-11 (67% winrate). So thanks for this deck, m8.

They propably are preparing for new expansion, and already know, what can be too strong with new cards, archetypes.
