Out of all the game companies Activision-Blizzard and Riot is pushing the woke agenda the hardest. Obviously to distract from their real problems like ruining their employees' lives to make them resign without severance...

the only problem is that there are so many ultra cool cards out there which are not played at all... there should be a format where those underperforming cards will be played...
something like commander in MTG... where even the worst of cards see play!

Malastrana2 posted a message on MY IDEAS FOR NEW HEARTHSTONE FORMATS - WOULD YOU PLAY THEM?Posted in: General DiscussionThese days both Standard and Wild seem quiet broken and power creep is making a lot of old cards useless. Classic is good as it is, but not so exciting for most players. So what other kind of Formats could we introduce to Hearthstone? Here are some thoughts:
1: There once was a Tavern Brawl where you would have three old Expansions and you could only use cards from these. Because of this limited cardpool the games felt fresh and never broken. It would be great to have a rotating Format (would call it REMIX) with this exact rule - three old Expansions to build decks from. Every Standard Expansion Cycle we get a reroll of the Expansions in the pool, maybe one remains, two get replaced. Also there could be promotional events and deals where you would get packs from these exact Expansions.
2: Another idea is to have a different kind of Classic Format, where the devs would pick one or two old (or recent) Expansions and downgrade their power level so that they would compare with the power level of Classic (would call it BALANCED) and be played in their own seperate mode, just like Classic. For example Barrel of Monkeys would cost 4 mana in this format. Rush and card draw would either be removed from some cards or come at a premium price and many more such adjustments. Then you can play these Expansions as if they came out in the first year of Hearthstone, much slower gameplay, more board focused, still unique. Could also rotate.
3: The other way around would also work - to upgrade the power level of old Expansions and to make them their own Format, just like Standard.
Let me know how you like these or if you have different ideas. I would really be happy to see new Formats and a more relaxed/balanced gameplay.

Trent90 posted a message on What is your most hated card of all time?Posted in: General DiscussionI don’t like mage and hunter secrets, counter spell or objection or freezing trap ruins my day each time I can’t play around them, but they are pretty much okey on their own, so basically i hate cards that can generate secrets or discover them, those type of cards are annoying, so my top pick for most hated card is shadowjeweler Hanar, I hate this card, I hate the guy who printed it, and I hate the guy who returned him to core set

Dunyil04 posted a message on Wow... What an ugly metaPosted in: Wild Formatthe idea that wild is impossible to balance is very untrue. There are pockets of healthy metas when the very seldom nerfs occur. The problem is just the infrequency of the nerfs.
yes there are a lot of cards and no they are not all impactful. Therefore balancing the significant outliers who warp the meta DOES help.
but I also agree, fundamental design issues need to be adjusted to make play styles more fun.

Dunyil0404 posted a message on Wow... What an ugly metaPosted in: Wild FormatHyper agro is an understatement.
Before I get trolled for 'meta-bashing' it's worth pointing out how horribly unbalanced wild has become. The prevalance of solitaire style decks and OP agro has made the format inhospitable.
I'm desperately waiting to see what the wild shake up that is coming in August will do, but am not holding up hopes.
In the meantime, here are my nerf recommendations:
Radiant Elemental (Spells cost (1) less, but not less than (1))
Gorloc Ravager (Battlecry: Add 3 random Murlocs to your hand)
Clownfish (Deathrattle: your next 2 Murlocs played costs (2) less)
Mechwarper (Battlecry: Your mechs cost (1) less this turn)
Illuminate Dredge. If it's a Holy spell, reduce it's cost by (3).
Palm Reading Discover a spell. Reduce the cost of a random spell in your hand by (1).
Swordfish Battlecry: Dredge. If it's a pirate, give that pirate and this weapons +1 attack (2 durability only).
Kabal Lackey Cost (2)
Chatty Bartender 4/2 stats.
Kabal Crystal Runner Cost (8)
Galvanizer Battlecry: Reduce the cost of a mech in your hand by (1).
I could go on...

AndreiRO posted a message on Flurgl + Toxfin ComboPosted in: General DiscussionIt baffles me how the community defends the Flurgl + Toxfin combo. Yes, the murloc package is a bigger issue atm, but a 3 mana board clear that requires an immediate answer from the opponent to not lose the game on the spot is not healthy for the game at all.
This community is filled with anger and personal grudges, so they lose sight of whatever is broken and unhealthy for the game. Usually they defend whatever is broken when they win with it or don't lose to, but when they lose to it, it needs an immediate nerf and it's the most broken thing ever. I'm playing mech paladin and I don't defend a turn 2-3 fill the board. It's toxic and broken. The game is at its best in the span of 6-9 turns. You feel you played the game but it's also fast enough you don't get bored of it and want to queue another game.
Sorry for the small rant, but seriously wild needs to be looked at because some cards or combos are getting too ridiculous. The community defending such broken cards or interactions is also ridiculous.

Toribasher posted a message on So Wild is now permanently a Secret Mage Super-Toilet?Posted in: Wild FormatSo Wild is now permanently a Secret Mage Super-Toilet?
Secret Mage with the new 1 drop that draws at end of every turn is your new Tier 0 deck.
Great job making Wild a 1 viable deck format!
Hearthstone is now a Battlegrounds client to me.

imagine your hand with some regular hearhstone cards and 1 of these. signature cards look so out of place. the full art isnt even colored so they look like cards in crafting screen

I'm so done with generate a card it costs zero cards.
while the community comes up with very creative and fun cards every month, they decide to print a card like this. I get the flavor a bit, but in the end, it is still a generate zero cost card card
