I prefer alliance normally but the animation of the Drek'Thar would be so much better than Vanndar in diamond, so I picked him

no I dont think this is a new card from the Alterac expansion, it neither has a gem or some logo

I am usually for the Alliance, but in this case I picked Drek'Thar.

The card looks much better in golden and with those wolves, it will even look better in diamond.

I dont care about which side wins, however I choose a side here purely for the looks. Vanndar wont look that cool with the diamond animation I know it, it is kinda obvious with that art. Drek'Thar on the other hand, if they dont go lazy, can be the coolest diamond animation yet.

I really hope Drek'Thar wins this; as his animation is way better in golden and I cant even imagine how beautiful those wolves would look in diamond animation

is every player gonna get diamond faction leader legendary regardless of their pick at the start?

The Legendary quest line doesn't start until the expansion launches, I'm assuming

well this is unusual. from what I understand you have to choose between 1 of the 2 golden legendaries to claim and get one, THEN after the 11th January, one of the cards will be picked and will be given to everyone as diamond for free.

if I understand this correctly, to get the both cards for free, we have to choose the character who will lose the battle, then get the victorious one as diamond later.

man, this sounds weird

they really need to rotate questlines early like baku & genn

until they rotate, every card will either be good for a quest deck, or not and wont be played.

They destroyed the deck creativity. making a deck become a braindead thing, just add the obvious support cards and thats it.
