    oof dude, all the news for you is bad in this situation.

    just the winning faction legendary will be given to everyone at 11th as diamond.

    they did provide a full dust refund for faction leader legendaries, but it's refund period ended. if you hadnt completed the honor questline yet, you should have crafted and disenchanted the opposing faction legendary (on the last day of refund) to prevent yourself from opening one after the refund period ended.

    and yes, you have to finish that honor questline to get opposing legendary. but you have time until the next expansion. if I were you, I wouldnt DE the legendary until I get it from either the honor questline or at the end of the event, as diamond (possibility)

    wait, how can you have Vol'Jin's 16th task??!!

    Its been bugged since early December, and I am stuck at task 15 with him. No matter what I do, I cannot get Vol'Jin's next tasks.

     almost all of them lol :D managed to beat every single heroic except blackrock, which I dont think I beat any of them. well I didnt give them so much thought, just give them a 1 or 2 tries with Antony/Baron/Ragnaros + Vol'Jin/Seline/Tamsin and I got rekt hahah :D they seemed to not to beaten easily, so I just kinda gave up and focused on max ing all my mercs.

    Thank you for your short guidence tho, I will try them.

    I think I just found the most broken treasure you can get in mercenaries.

    It's for Tirion, I got it after an elite battle. It's default speed is 1. Basically gives Tirion Taunt and immune, but opponents can (and will) attack right into him. There is no cooldown for it.
    At first I had my doubts, maybe it removes Tirion from the play until the end of the battle? maybe it is 1 use only? NOPE! This thing is absolutely bonkers, after returning to the bench, you can play him immediately again, and basically just spam this ability until you win.

    Also, now I wonder, anyone else knows another things/combos like this? I think I can legit go for this treasure and try to (most likely win unless stuck at turn limiter) beat heroic blackrock.

    I think people who are saying "questline pirate warrior has no thinking process" have never played the deck itself. Especially in mirror matchs, it can be really intense. I have always liked aggro vs aggro matchups, fast games, and you have yo make crucial decisions. I have even seen people who mulligan the quest to push the tempo to win in mirrors.

    my advice: before you make a judgement about a deck, if you can, try to play it yourself. see the other perspective.

    disclaimer: I also think the deck is broken now btw, and should be nerfed.

     I can't help but think that there was a design change/disconnect somewhere along the way. Some of these tasks seem like they were designed to be completed passively across several play sessions. This flies in the face of the "campfire" design that encourages tasks be ground out in a single playthrough.

    What I mean by that, some of the more onerous tasks, be it with a ridiculous amount like the Voone one, or through "moonshot" circumstances like killing enemies with Sylvanas' deathrattle tells me that maybe the original design for tasks were maybe that every merc got them automatically and could be done passively as you played normally. This would suggest that somewhere along the way, instead we got the campfire and Mysterious Strangers, where you didn't get tasks automatically, and only had limited slots for them, but some of those tasks designed for the "old" system fell through the cracks. 

     yea that makes sense. Like the regular achievements in the game.

    But their laziness managed to surface to show this. still cant get tasks for vol'jin btw (stuck at 15). they just dont care about anything other than things that 'might' cost them money.

     lmao I agree man. I think we are at the worst state of the wild meta around now. its been like that since the stormwind. before that there were many variety in the wild mode, and I was loving it. I hate the "matchup" meta where you can guess 100% exact deck  your opponent will be playing just by looking at his class, and you know if you can win that game or not (like rock paper scissors, except you can see which one is your opponent at the mulligan and your pick was already determined). thats why I kinda left the standard mode before, lacks variety too much to be played in my opinion.

    gaming industry nowadays does not care about the game quality. its all about making as much money as possible through any means, such as adding addictive and gamble-like elements or targeting children. so yeah, my expectations from any game company is at all time low now and I expect nothing more than the bare minimum effort to at least them making the game "playable". And thats prolly the biggest reason why there are so many bugs present in todays games.

    Can't be Cookie'd since Flurry won't hit fish. It's also not giving the +1 for a triple kill that tasks like this normally do.

     what a coincidence, I just did that task. after realizing the cookie wont work, I just did the first heroic bounty in the barrens. The minions usually just die to the Varden's flurry ability instantly.

    also Grommash's 13th task I think, was pretty hard too. "deathblow 75 times" from the wording and the required number, I thought any deathblow would count, but NOOO, it only counts Grom's deathblow, which sucks. Also, its kinda buggy, it only starts to count after the 1st deathblow, so if you do 1 deathblow per game it wont count anything at all, you have to do multiple... Well I just used cookie in that matter, and since 75 is a pretty high number, I killed 26 fishes for 3 different matches to avoid hitting the turn limit. damn that was such a work.
