Szreder posted a message on The Black KnightPosted in: The Black KnightDear Mr. The Black Knight.
There was a time when you were true all-star. But that was long long ago. After that you faded away.
People were raging after getting you in a pack. Some of them even called you "400 dust".
But you didn't give up. You tried to make a powerful comeback. Remember the time before Old Gods when so many people were saying that you'll be an auto-include and hard counter to Twin Emperor Vek'lor or buffed C'Thun? Or hype before Un'Goro when the bunch of players thought that era of Taunt Warrior is coming and you'll be an excellent tech?
I remember those times. But unfortunately you didn't manage to come back. And suddenly, when there was so little faith, so little hope... YOU DID IT! You came back! You literally turned against The Lich King and showed in HS once again to annihilate your master.
Welcome back The Black Knight! Even if it's for 2-3 weeks... it's worth!

SweerPotato posted a message on Defeating the Lich King with all Classes Gives You the Paladin Hero ArthasPosted in: NewsUm, so I think I might know how to beat the Lich King boss fight with Mage really easily. From what we saw in the video, the Lich King casts a spell known as "The True Lich" for 1 mana that sets the opponents (you) to 1. If you played Kabal Lackey into Mana Bind before he plays the spell, you could potentially use the same spell against him and win on turn 2.

gaeaz posted a message on Your Questions for Hearthstone Game Designer Dean Ayala!Posted in: Newswith your recent announcement about which cards will gain the elemental tag, why are certain cards which within the lore are considered elementals not considered elementals here ,following are the major examples and the reasoning for it
starting with Mana Geode Geodes are elementals we can find them in deepholm, so shouldn't they be considered at least an earth elemental or if they are a construct of mana an arcane elemental like the Arcane Anomaly
the jade spirit is very clearly a pandaren elemental spirit of earth we see those little cuties all over pandaria and the wandering isle
Djinni of Zephyrs should be an elemental because lore wise they are it is very clearly stated that they are high ranking air elementals
the Twilight Elemental is well very clearly an elemental as it states in the name
Hallazeal the Ascended is also an elemental as ascended are classified as elementals, there is also a ticket from a GM which stated that ascended are elementals,
There are some that could be argued for, like majordomo and flamewaker along with all the core hounds since they are creatures from the Firelands, Voidwalkers and other void creatures can and have been tagged as elementals but it gets tricky when you talk about warlocks and their void walkers cause they call them demons but they aren't they are just void beings that made the same contract as demons with the warlock,
But when we get into the shade cards its tricky for us to understand, cause some times shades are ghosts some times they are shadow elementals and Lightspawn being and elemental but its dark counter parts not is very odd to us.

Morkimus posted a message on Explore Un'GoroPosted in: Explore Un'GoroHo boy! Can't wait to play this just for the lols. IMO the discover should cost 0 mana, to at least let you play like Renounce Darkness where you out-tempo your enemy at the exchange of unreliability. Still, plenty of fun this way comes. It will probably be bad to play on turn 2, unlike the Warlock comparison, unless your hand is godly enough to let you survive.
But this card's purpose isn't just fun. Its late game value, just like Elise Starseeker. This is what makes the 1-mana discover make sense. Unlike Renounce, you aren't supposed to just drop this whenever, and unleash chaos. Here, you are meant to do this when you are grinding through the late game, and want maximum value, instead of undrawn Acolyte of Pains and Slams

Are you sure you want a 4 mana charge minion that ignores taunt to have 5 attack?

Call of the mild.

Only 14 cards have been revealed. You’re judging the expansion when you’ve only seen one tenth of the content.

Technically Duplicate does nothing on the board either.

3 mana 2/2, add a Savannah Highmane to your hand.

Depends on how many classic cards you have. If you're missing a lot of important cards in the classic set the it would probably be better to open classic packs, but if you're not missing many then go ahead with gadgetzan.

Blizzard was thinking that they didn't want silence to become too strong since they had nerfed Ironbeak Owl and Keeper of the Grove at the start of this year. Same goes for Purify, they tested it silencing any minion but made it only friendly minions for the same reason.

Discover would be way to strong, I think the card is fine how it is.

I decided to go with Ragnaros, thanks for the advice guys!
