Switched to aggro to be able to beat the cancer that is control warrior (still my outs are like 50%). Got the stupid Dr. Boom down to 4 health with a sticky board, thought "welp, that's it for you" but wouldn't you know, he got Zilliax and Vicious Scraphound from his OP as fk Omega Assembly and casually gets 10 health back. I have no removal, have to trade small minions in, afterwards the warrior has over 40 health. Fk the state of this game right now.
And I agree. Sooo boring to play against control warrior because of infinite removal. Omega Devastator is really overkill. Also, it is impossible right now to build a deck that doesn't try to win before turn 10, because every deck that goes for lategame will 100% be outvalued by Dr. Boom.
Seems like variants of bomb warrior - from midrange to control - seem to be the most dominant right now.
However, I'm having fun with my Mech Hunter right now - mostly difficult against said warriors, but I'd say it's a 50% matchup against them. Crushing mostly everything else. Just had a 9 win run in the brawl.
Control shaman is super fun. So much value generation with Underbelly Angler, Ghost Light Angler and Hagatha the Witch. Had some nice fatigue matches against warriors. It's going to be a slow, strategic meta and I'm excited :D
Sooooo many options to multiply your togwaggle value. Scheme, this, shadowstep, vanish... but this seems to be the most reliable to me because it also brings your lackey back without having to spend a prep.
So this was the big heal druid synergy besides the stag? Not worth it. Against aggro and mid-range it is too slow, against slow decks it could work but if it ever becomes popular slow decks will just run 1 silence.
The damage is a waste, mage has better cards for this. Really only worth if freeze synergy works in this meta, then you can freeze 2 minions on up to 2 different turns for 2 mana with only 1 card.

Stag could be insane if midrangy druid becomes a thing and gets more good options to heal 5 on the side...

Nice curving if aggro shaman will be any good. Spends mana perfectly on turn1+2 or both turn2.
