After WoW Insider lost its support from the parent company, the staff went on to form Blizzard Watch and have been quite successful on their own. Do you or any of your staff plan to continue on with your own new Hearthstone site? If for legal reasons you are and can’t name said site just yet, maybe you can just leave a yes or no and we can find out on Twitter once its able to be announced?
You can actually add the missing couple dollars and use the rest as your Blizzard balance. I just did this a couple days ago to get the preorder. Just go to your account and choose to add balance. When it asks what amount, just put in the exact amount you need. There will be a couple minute delay and you can buy the preorder with your new balance.
I managed to kill Gnomenapper in the first try using counterspell and then flamestrike the next time he used it. I chose that gnome treasure going into the final fight and that board full of gnomes really won the game(s) for me.
I honestly don’t think the issue lies with shudderwok. There are far more powerful decks in play right now with high win rates. Aggro decks are great against it and the main problem is its animation. Even when you know they aren’t going to beat you with the Shudderwok, you’re still going to sit through 2 minutes of animation.
If they just speed up the animations or just skip to the results, I think I’d be fine with it. Actually pulling off the combo isn’t as easy as people make it out to be. I’d still kill you easier with an Odd hunter, Maly rogu, or Lady in White priest.
The problem is that the actual effect is "Can't be targeted by spells OR hero powers". The OR is the problem here. Anti-magic shell isn't a keyword that would cover this as some have suggested because hero powers can't target those minions too. I would hardly count a hunters arrow to be magic. Elusive sounds like you'd have a chance to miss it with any attack. Untargetable is just as misleading. As long as the effect is covering both of those immunities, its going to be a problem to have a single keyword that makes sense to a brand new player.
You have to remember that anyone on this website discussing this is not the person that this matters to when Blizzard makes this decision. We're already in. We already understand the game. We're coming at this from the perspective of someone who knows the effect already. The keyword discussion is 100% for new players to the game that don't have WoW as a reference. We're at a stage where the playerbase for Hearthstone has likely passed WoW with the occasional HS players who jump in on their phone or tablets. Referencing WoW effects won't help those people. It has to be a word that you see and know exactly what it means without needing to know Warcraft. If it isn't clear when you read it, then its not an effective keyword.
There's nothing "clickbait" about it. That's the Tespa cardback. The article is about looking for a Tespa caster team. The title describes the article accurately. You just didn't read and felt the need to accuse them of posting clickbait. :P

Once you linked your battle net to Twitch, it just shows up in your packs.

This is my first attempt at a deck build. Hoping to get into the beta to learn how to play soon and build a deck around a shaman theme.
