Not all classes can build decks with Kazakusan unless they can build all-spell or few-dragons deck competitive enough to survive to turn 8-10....
Only Druid, Priest, and Warrior (maybe Mage) can so far, but we are not sure how the core set and post-rotation meta looks like yet to make any judgment....
Dh already has one, thats half of the classes in the game and 3 of them are super meta. Any deck that can draw their deck by t8-10 can throw it in there as an alternate win con, none of the colossal minions can do that. These are value and stat bombs which dont get the job done in HS anymore (sadly)
So far we have seen 4-5 legendary cards from the new expansion and while the dredge keyword sounds awesome and will definitely be welcomed for expansions to come, I am just on the fence about the colossal minions with this set and whether is makes sense to ever run them over a Kazakusan deck?
Kaz has such a simple requirement and essentially shuffles 8-10 more win-conditions into your deck. I think Kaz has to require X dragons to be played before its battlecry to be activated because it makes these colossal minions just look…meh?
What do you think?! Early overreaction or am I onto something here?
Lol just Mutanus a Nzoth, from another warrior and won the game off it. Also shuffled 5 Kargath Primes into the deck. Seems like the changes have helped control matches!
Hey Rarran, I have a similar deck to this one and wanted to share my opinion on some of the differences between our decks!
-1 Imprisoned Gan'arg: The deck already consists of a lot of weapons with Sword Eater and Kresh being summoned multiple times. Most of the time the second Gan'arg is redundant without breaking one of the other weapons. The deck also does not run cards like Cutting class so the card is fine as a one of.
-1 Tent Thrasher: While a good card in the deck, the 5 mana slot is just overloaded with options at the moment. While it is relatively easy to play the card for 3-4 mana, I have Kargath Bladefist instead and it offers me a lot more against other control decks because of the added armor, and the ability to combo it with Playmaker.
+1 I have found success with Archdruid Naralax because it is broken on curve. It will either curve out for you, or offer you some of 2 powerful removal options.
I am currently 10-6 myself with my initial list containing cards like Barron Geddon and C'thun the shattered. If I change anything else I can share it with you on twitter or in the comment section!
Clown Warrior has 0 early game and loses against aggro quite easily. I have played a few games with this deck and changed up quite a few cards, do check it out and let me know your thoughts below!
I thought about adding that pirate but the 5 drop slot is already seriously crowded and cutting sword eater or stonemaul anchor breaks synergies or just lowers the power level of the deck. Now, If the meta has slowed down and everyone packs their decks with value, then there is a case to be made.

Is this inherently better than Captain Galvangar?
Its just easier to run that plus BGBM and faceless will probably still be around but we shall see.

Are they a win-con? No.
I dont believe 4 1/2 dealing one damage at the end of your turn ever wins you games consistently (so simple to remove.)

None of the colossal cards this far progress to any kind of win condition aside from Gigafin against aggro decks.

Good chance Breath of Dreams returns with all these dragons. And for classes like Warrior, its a better win con that 3 random pirates + Smite no?

Sheldras Moontree is direct anti-synergy with this card. I wish the druid class specific legendaries made sense together zzzz

Sounds like a few people dropped out of law school to size up ego's over a thread about Hearthstone....

A true undiscovered meta slayer.

Whenever there is a major patch, it almost always 24 hours late on IOS from personal experience. This particular patch was different it seems.
