Battletag: AngelGabriel#2509 Region: EU Usual Play Times: quick blast over lunch at work between 1-2pm, then most evenings for various lengths of time Level of Experience: Long time player, but more social than serious Preferred Heroes: Mage, Priest primarily....anything but Paladin. I’m Looking For: Friends, quests Tell us something about you: None of my IRL friends play HS - not fussed about the ladder, but like to complete quests and carry on my vain attempts to finally do a 12 win Arena run...like to discuss the game and upcoming expansions...like to win, but don't really care if I lose!
As a big Mage fan/player, I know how damaging Mana Wyrm can be...along with the coin, it literally can win you games from the outset, with many classes struggling to deal with 3 health minions early on, with the damage taken, along with the spells cast, too hot to handle.
I have expected this nerf for a long time now...and though sad to see it finally drop, cannot really complain about it. We have had it good for far too long now and now the Wyrm needs to be considered as part of a Mage deck - not a simple auto include that can have such a huge effect.
I think it fair....and hopefully Mage can grow stronger for it, as Blizz said this could open up more possibilities for the class, rather than be quite a one dimensional class as it stands now.
this used to really annoy me....but now its just meh....if you wanna act like a dick, go right ahead - what does it matter really.
as some have said, sometimes there is a legitimate reason for not killing your opponent off immediately, especially where quests are concerned - but if they let the rope burn and then at the last second play the killer card, and greet or thank you, then you haven't lost anything apart from a few seconds really....youd have lost the game anyway.
be the bigger person, enjoy the game for what it is, and know that whatever you do/play, there will always be morons who try to wind you up however they can - and this is the only real way in HS to do that.
Battletag : AngelGabriel #2509 Region: EU Usual Play Times : Most Days Level of Experience: Intermediate Preferred Heroes: Mage, Priest, Warlock I’m Looking For: In game friends to play, test out decks, discuss the game and strategies, and have general banter. Tell us something about you : From the UK, mainly a social player but have a deep card collection and enjoy all types of deck - mainly control though. Just looking for chat and experience sharin
play extremely aggro so youre in a win position by the time turn 9 comes around and, if it does and Jaina is dropped, be extremely aware of not to leave minions on 1 health so they can be pinged and turned into Water Ellies. Tough deck, but not unbeatable....same as all decks....strong but has weaknesses.
Putting aside all arguments about the current state of the meta and how good/bad the last expansion is, and what cards need nerfing etc, one of the biggest issues I feel is that many games can be decided by the draw you get and even with the mulligan, if one player gets even a half decent draw but the other gets the worst, the game is lost before its begun.
My idea, or point for debate, is whether people would think that you are allowed to pre select one card that is guaranteed to appear in your opening hand, whether you go first or second. The others would be random and open to mulligan.
To take it further, it could (?) even be better to be able to select the card you guarantee once you see which class your opponent is playing. Of course this doesn't mean you know what deck they have - but if you know youre up against a Paladin or Warlock, its fairly likely you know whats coming, so you could at least have one card that can give you some chance from the off.
I think one card choice 'guaranteed' out of 30 isn't overly unreasonable and think, to my logic, that it at least balances out somewhat what can otherwise be a very unfair advantage that no one has any control of.
I'm sorry if this topic has been covered before or in another thread - but would be interested to hear if anyone agrees or what the drawbacks could be if not.
if you want friends, simply create an account and use an obvious female name.....FoxyChick or FlirtySally.....something like that......you will get a friend request every game you play.............
