Legendary quests are extra quests that do nto replace normal quests, but have their own space in the UI. I know doing 1 game to get 1 pack doesn't feel particularly legendary, but that's what these types of quests have been called since the start. :)

I am not opening the game since May, maybe (or something like that). Therefore, I can only give you a macro impression. I am not playing this game any more because I am very disappointed about how they are running this game. It is always the same, without real improvements. It is also full of bugs. The new expansion? Come on. I am not interested at all in playing again C'Thun, I don't see these things appealing any more. And 50 bucks? For reprints? No. no. no. If they don't understand that this game needs far more, for me, it is dead. As I already said (in another post), there are also new opportunities with cloud gaming for players, and this game is old and has to become appealing also in this market. We are light years behind for me.
Then maybe this wouldn’t be the best post to answer to? You’ve been saying nothing but negative things about Hearthstone, and to choose to answer a question based on an expansion you haven’t played, and are not interested in playing, seems very off-topic.
As for OP, I like the expansion so far. We’ve had many more far less balanced launches of expansions in the past, and there are no blatantly OP decks. Sure, we’re not fully refined, but there are signs that all but 2 classes will have viable decks for laddering. I would like to see more buffs in the balance patch than nerfs. But to me, there are three clear targets for nerfs:
- Nightcloak Sanctum to 4 mana to make it compete with Cold Case;
- Vile Library to 3 mana, and maybe even change the text to “Give a minion +1/+1 for each Imp you control.”
- Guff to 6 or maybe even 7 mana. It’s time Team5, just do it. Orher suggestions such as gaining an empty mana crystal instead of a mana crystal would completely destroy the card.

Seems like I want to say “good riddance” to a player like you..

They honestly should never do quests again (they will try again), they will never get the balance right.

You allready posted a more suitable solution for you "Problem" which is just bottom-righting angainst any Class or Deck you have no fun playing angainst. This way you can even "Ban" multiple classes or Decks. You dont really waste that much time either, ist Just one cue time plus Mulligan. You even get the adventage of beeing able to Tech your Deck differntly,knowing you wont play a specific Class. Now of cource that luxury Domes with a price, and that ist, your Overall winrate or abbilty to climb goes down a bit, but IMO its a fair price to pay, nothing comes for free, you have to make a call If this ist worth for you personally. Actually hard-banning a Class will Not fix your Problem either by the way. The Meta will adjust quickly and before you know it there ist a new Deck/Class that you find tidious to Play against, and dont worry, If you Ban that Class next Game, you will surly face the First one exactly next Game, the world ist unfair :D

Hearthstone is for different players and different styles, adapt or quit.

'You can now hold down the Spacebar to continuously open packs.'
Thank God the prayers have been heard, finally no more Spacebar spamming at expansion launch.

Because it is a proven money maker, King printed money making a fake game designed to stimulate spending. Activision acquired king so they could implement their expertise. If the piss poor money sink Mercenaries couldn't convince you, the predatory monetization of diablo immortal, the absolute hellhole of a workplace filled with hypocritical harrassers....the fact that Blizzard has positions on their staff of Community Manager who's actual job it is to defend their reputation from the truth coming out.....Anyone who still believes that Blizzard is a legit company who would never manipulate hearthstone outcomes in search of profit is either a shill or clueless.
But mercenaries is predatory. You need to level up your stuff, and leveling up takes either an insane amount of time or money.
Reward systems vs new content dropout, cosmetics, and other stuff are all pointed at making profit, there's no doubt in that, and mercenaries is a clear attempt at making a big big profit. Diablo Immortal? You can read the scam there, it's a classic gacha with classic gacha dynamics.
But ranked mode? How would that even work? Rigged matchups and draws to improve your results when you spend? Would that even work if you don't realise it?
Think about this. I don't believe the game is rigged because there are no clear signs, so I won't spend money to improve my odds because I see no return of investment in it. You believe the game is rigged and that if you spend money you'll get a better outcome, now you may be pushed to spend some money to increase your rank, but this is based on your belief, not upon the fact that the game is or is not rigged. So literally rigging the game or not doesn't change how likely you are or I am [EDIT: to spend money] in this scenario, because we don't know what's happening. When you spend money on mercenaries you get coins, coins upgrade the mercs, when you spend money on Diablo you get gems that make your character stronger. When you spend money on HS you get cards, which let you build more decks (this is the real incentive) and a slightly better chance of drawing bloodlust on curve I guess? Even if it were true, it's not written anywhere, so how are we supposed to know and get convinced to spend?

Blizzard responded to ADWCTA's #arenawarriorsmatter campaign and we see some results so i guess we need someone to start #nerfpatrontooblivion campaign or #nerfwarsongcommander at least :)
