Never mind, only a person who practice any sport competitively will understand my point of view ...

Quote from mementomoriii >>Quote from HighJusticeGrimstoner >>You claim the game isn't competitive, but it clearly is. You can't argue it's not just because you don't agree with the notion, it's not up for debate. You don't really get to choose what is or isn't played competitively, and no one person has the right to determine whether or not a game takes skill to play.
There's evidence that yes, the game does take skill. Take an unskilled person with Midrange Druid and put them against a highly skilled player with Midrange Druid and see what happens.
Let's see what happens if you put someone to play secret paladin who never played hearthstone on the ladder? This person will receive legend.Do you wish to speak about skill in casinostone? Be my guest.

only in HS there's no bluffing or reads like in poker and if you draw a bad hand then you're shafted while someone just curves out and auto pilots their hand.

I feel like you've misunderstood the term 'e-sport'. An e-sport is any game that is played competitively, with tournaments for cash prizes. Hearthstone is an e-sport.
What you described is people who just play the game - in context of traditional sports, the regular Hearthstone playerbase would be the kids playing football in their back garden, or like, badminton or some crap as part of a club. Legend players, who have a chance to enter tournaments (I've never looked into the process, given I'm not good enough for it to matter), might be considered the players on a local sportsball team, who get 'scouted', or whatever.
So basically, to answer your question, even though you tried to head it off at the start, yeah, Hearthstone is an e-sport.

Theft/copying is an infuriating mechanic to some people (like me). It has nothing to do with balance or wins and losses.. it's just not -fun- to play against.

Priest sucks to play against and I will tell you why:
1) If you are a Face deck, then you lose despite the skill gap that may exist. It is such a one-sided affair that only the Priest player can enjoy any aspect of the game except for the infrequent occasions where Face squeezes out a win.
2) Priest is so fucking slow and boring to play against. I don't want to spend 30 minutes watching you try to heal and fatigue your way to victory (or defeat).
3) If you are a deck like Oil Rogue, then Priest is easy pickings. You don't get any joy when you beat a Priest with such an advantage.
4) Lightbomb is often times impossible to play around. This is annoying.
5) Dragon Priest is perhaps the most mindless deck to pilot. Play oversized creatures each turn with no real penalty for doing so. The Dragons and Enabled Cards are strong as fuck.
So there you have it. Priest is a class that most people don't enjoy playing against.
TLDR; Priest is not fun to play against (win or lose).

priest definitely has a place on ladder, especially when people are trying to counter aggro. Priest can do well against aggro and anti-aggro.
I think people hate priests because 1) they take all your stuff (as mentioned above) and 2) games take a long time to finish

Cause he steals all your stuff and just cleans your whole board with 3 aoes he has.. So priest is annoying..

Blizzard responded to ADWCTA's #arenawarriorsmatter campaign and we see some results so i guess we need someone to start #nerfpatrontooblivion campaign or #nerfwarsongcommander at least :)
