posted a message on The Headless Horseman Rides is This Week's Brawl!

It's horrifying this gets a lot of upvotes. Hope the devs are just testing the mechanic or rolling out a side feature for brawls only and they never actually implement it.
Mage is aids enough with the exodia and elemental versions, now give it tools to pyroblast my face for 12 on turns 8-9? Might as well quit the game.
Stop creating the new plague. I don't get any fun playing against a class that ALWAYS has an answer for whatever I play and doesn't give two sitting ducks. And you want to buff it further? Hell no.

Paladin with Warlock heropower, easiest 1-3 of me life.
Getting sh** on by Magestone, as the usual arena experience. Why bother picking and playing value cards with good stats, buffs idk... when your opponent doesn't care and removes every and each of them? Shaman + mage, mage + rogue and go on, score your 12 ez wins.
Don't pick anything else, Classes w/o mage are irrelevant.
Ultra triggered by Freeze mechanic x removals, no counter.

posted a message on Five Predictions of Mammoth Proportions

There's so much wrong with a 10 mana 6/6 that can *potentially* revive double Southsea Captain, double Southsea Deckhand and Patches the Pirate AND give you a 5/2 weapon. This is some straight and outright SMOrc! Looks like Ultimate Infestation for pirates. Ben Brode needs to see this.

posted a message on Why do people complain about Bonemare??

Ran Bonemare as part of an F2P Hunter deck, it always managed to stick in my starting hand, even when mulliganed, and I lost boards to aggro because of a dead card. After I successfully deleted this card from the deck, my winrate has grown significantly (or I started getting better matchups).
Somehow other decks, like keleseth rogues and zoolocks, always manage to keep something on the board to play the Bonemare onto. So, it's terrible for me, but when the opponent is running one, it is OP and always useful. A really weird feeling. Maybe I'm just terrible with my mere rank 12 :\

One of my brawl opponents was running this, the brewmaster version. I laughed so hard at this genius deckbuilding idea!
Unfortunately, they were only able to burn 3 of my worse cards before they got SMOrced.
.. and wait, the brawl allows for Wild cards to be used? Just found out. Stupid me :\

posted a message on Hearthstone being competitive is a joke

      TLDR (actually did).
Time to slam in with my 'very important opinion'.

This game, as said above, is about RNG, pushing your luck, making its influence minimal or guaranteeing an answer when using/abusing it. Reason why Primordial Glyph sees play and Tortollan Forager doesn't - first one doesn't throw a Magma Rager in your face. Well, I'm also comparing a Mage and Druid card for different archetypes, but w/e, I'm just a rank 14 Hearthstone expert. You can avoid RNG at all, but that limits you to playing the current Brawl in Ranked - which is OK, until you run into a meta deck.

That said, with the amount of random that can turn around the table, this game sometimes does have it over the edge. Remember old Yogg-Saron, Hope's End? The memes.

Had an idea, it's terrible and you've been warned. BBrode will never offer me a seat in the balance department.
Take Jeweled Macaw- can deliver King Krush, can spit out a Snowflipper Penguin. Why not make it draw a 2-3 mana beast only? More consistent and reliable RNG, better on-curve draw. What could possibly happen? (LUL Duskboar).

Also, when you play this game - slow. down. This isn't a reaction or accuracy contest, unless you fireball your face while roping. Take your time, play around any possible removals, be happy. When I stopped slamming cards rapidly on the board just as my turn comes in, started thinking my turns over even when the play seemed obvious - that's when I saw the amount of mistakes I make that weren't noticeable at the first, rapid glance (Alleycat Scavenging Hyena into paladin's turn 4, YOLO).

Stuff happens. And sometimes you need that exact answer, that exact card... and the deck gives you lemons (Happy Ghoul). Or you're in a game where the opponent has a perfect answer for anything you throw at them - reason I legit hate mages, since they tend to do that most often. This is a part of this game you have to deal with, and how you react is up to you - ragequit, even, if it's tough. Let it be known that I miss the 'Sorry' emote when facing the exact opposite situation. No, 'Oops' is a BM!

Last one - there's always a time for a winstreak, it it's not now - forfeit it and come back later. There are times when I steamroll the slow decks on the ladder and when they steamroll back at me. Have to catch that moment too.
My mind dump is over, thank you for consuming it.

posted a message on Free to Play Rank 23 to Legend in 3 days Day 80% win rate

It's a matter of timing, honestly.
One time of the day I run into Devolve Shamans and Freeze Mages, other - into Handlocks and other Hunters. One time it's 0-3, other it's 3-0. Just got to catch the right hours. Where you'll win more than lose, since there are less unfavored matchups on ladder that run over you with massive AoEs.
