Hopefully next year they bring out wild packs, where you get a random set of cards from the wild expansion card pool (adventures probably wouldn't be included)
I made a 35 legendary deck and reno activated every time I used him, were you playing as or against priest? Maybe you entombed a dupe or they shuffled two excavated into your deck?
Next - a card for druid that either creates tokens or buffs your board in an interesting way (more along the lines of soul of the forest than power of the wild)
I think it's just due to how long card design and balance takes and so they started designing karazhan before priest had a problem. Probably wrong though but it makes me feel better about the development team
I'd recommend at least getting the first wing of LoE as you can then buy the rest later on. Plus you also get reno who was probably the biggest card in the adventure. Brann is another solid card and I believe he's the reward for the second wing
As for this adventure, no way to tell until the dust settles
I think maybe it should be add one of them to your hand or something, adding both to the assassins blade could single handedly kill your opponent over 4 turns whilst also healing your hero
I tried to make a shaman combo deck earlier using the flamewreathed faceless, windfury and rock biter weapon (20 damage potentially turn 5) but I'm not sure how to guarantee it stays alive

"Free"
You keep using that word, I do not think that means what you think it means

You don't have to be playing a c'thun deck to run twin emps. If you just add a few c'thun buffs the effect will go off anyway.
You could run in a control warrior with ancient shield bearer and some buffs
But if you're set on crafting a legendary I'd go with a classic, like sylvanas as you'll get more value in terms of standard

This card annoyed me. You pay 3 mana for a 2 drop, then get a 3 mana war axe. 6 mana in total for a weapon warriors play turn two

Angry chicken + darkspeaker, then menagerie warden it for 2 3/6 chickens
If I died to that I wouldn't even be mad

Surely it should just be "I have been out faced"

A new priest card that basically buffs all the karazhan cards:
