     ...What? I'm legit trying to understand this. How is a 4/2 charge, 2/4, 4/4 taunt with +1 attack to all "useless" for a swing card? Double COTW can pretty much dominate a game from almost any position that Hunter oft finds themselves in. I'd argue Boom and COTW are about equal in power, maybe leaning slightly in COTWs favor since you can have 2 of and a guaranteed 5/4 taunt + instant 5 damage for removal can increase your odds of surviving another turn if you're in THAT bad of a place. Boom did nothing upon summon - it was just a huge tempo swing to whomever got it first.
    I think Call is OP but I also think dozens of other cards are OP. This game's balanced around a handful of OP cards - the cards you make decks out of. I think Hunter is in a bad place and Call is a toxic card, but until they add more cards to help hunters out - it's also a necessity. If they give hunter any more power, Call will probably need a nerf - but as-is, if it's nerfed, hunter is basically a dead class.

    It's BM to say good game / well played at the end of a pvp match..? Since when? Why..?

    People rope ALL the time at ALL levels of play. Not every turn is simple or easy and you definitely can't tell what was going through that players mind. Hell, watch Trump or Amaz - best of the best players. They rope ALL the time, especially Amaz. At least once or twice a game he ropes, and he's had a few games where he roped nearly every turn.

    Once you get to around rank 7+, expect VERY frequent ropes as players have to start thinking through numerous possibilities. 

     

    I don't think you're experiencing BM. I think you're just being salty.

    4 mana 3/5 is already pretty decent.

    For Decks that commonly go near fatigue(control warrior, priest in general, freeze mage) there's no real loss in playing her. She trades really well into one of the most played cards in the game- shredder, and 5 health has always been a pretty good number. It also adds another win condition to your deck, albeit taking on average 23 cards to get going. 

    I'll toss it in a few decks if I have an open spot.

    posted a message on How to play around Nozdormu exploit?

    So.. I just lost another game to this, and I'm not really sure what to do about it. I don't see it often, but it's so frustrating to literally lose multiple turns in a row, without any possible response. 

    For those who don't know, the specific one I just came across was a stealthed Lorewalker Cho + 5 spells after nozdormu (backstab prep shiv prep shiv, this time) at the last second of his turn. It took my entire turn to finish the spell effects and before I could even draw my card, I roped. 

    Is there a place to..I dunno, report these people? or has blizzard just decided that roping your opponent is a viable strategy? :/

    Strategy was simple. Aim for a sub-10 damage board, using Inner Fire, Silences, etc. Power Word Glory 2 creatures, and then spam end turn 'til he dies.

    I had A LOT of useless cards in my deck, so I changed it up to something far more optimal and gave for additional win conditions.

    8/4 is bad. Even if it was on curve (~5-6 mana), I don't think an 8/4 would be played in many decks.

    Why play this over a second BGH, which also isn't played? It needs a dragon in hand AND it needs an enemy legendary on board. Legendaries aren't the only scary thing on board. Of the like..10 legendaries commonly played, one of them counters it, one of them is irrelevant(Thalnos), one is never actually killable outside of AoEs/"random targets"(Antonidis), Alexstraza does her effect when she's summoned, Sylvanas just steals your 8/4 body, leaving it only good on a handful of cards in the meta - all of which are handled by BGH. I can think of exactly TWO cards this is good for, and both are significant threats. Malygos and Ysera.

    Just make the changes you can, you might have a few better options in your collection. But you get the basic idea... Freeze Mage to control and kill his board, and hold out to late game where you can use Duplicate + Feugen and Stallag.

    Just make sure you use his minions that destroy minions beside it to full advantage.

    So I beat him, Yay! :D Snazzy card back.

    I didn't use Arcane Golem, Vaporize, Lance. Instead I had 2 Arcane Missiles, 2 Healbots & 2 blizzards. My kill he flooded the board with the 4/6 untargetables very early on, so I kept them frozen - turn 6 I nova + explosive sheep, Turn 7 flamestrike and it was smooth sailing from there. Nerubian Egg got both blizzards, and 1 Arcane intellect went completely to waste.

    End board had 4 11/11s on it. :P He died to Fatigue. Thanks for the help, VeiledSyn! Took 2 hours, but it finally worked out.

    To me, I think this card is so bad it actually weakens Sneeds old Shredder due to its release. You don't control when it activates(usually) and 8 health is a scary number to fall to suddenly. 

    I see potential in mage decks with double ice block to finish a game, but outside of that - forget this card.

    So, doing these new challenges has made me go back and do all of Naxx heroic. Everything was going swimmingly, 'til I met with Heroic Patchwerk. Finally beat him down after a couple hours - everything else went well. Cleared all of the wings except one. Skipped Sapphiron and went straight to KT - easy fight...then I met this thing.

    Now, before I start, I've tried all of the suggested decks. I hate reading up strategies on bosses in any game, but I've been at this for way too long. I've tried to mill her, I've tried Freeze mage without Pyroblast(I don't own it), I've tried face hunter, charge decks, control warrior, spell druid, mill druid, mill rogue, control rogue, miracle rogue, along with any other deck I could think of.. Lowest I ever got her was 26. I did get her to fatigue once, before she blasted me for 28 damage with spells. Yay.

    I'm just out of ideas. Any tips? :/

    I honestly found it harder. I walked through the last wing without any issues - normal and heroic. 

    This wing I'm stuck on heroic Baron Geddon and I had to fatigue Heroic Ragnaros(I probably didn't have to.. I had 6 Kel'Thuzads on the board when Rag came out, lol.)  to win. I've beaten every other boss except Heroic Sapphiron in under 3 tries - Geddon has broken that streak. =(

    Slower meta, Artifacts become a thing(something other than weapon or creatures that's played on the board), Face hunter nerfed into the ground, never to return again, Every set has a viable control, combo and rush varient, best of 2 or 3 deck ranked mode, real rewards for ranked play beyond rank 20.

    More varients on mechanics in the game, IE: 2/4 Troggzor who can't be targetted by spells for 5/6 mana, tutor cards(mixture of Tracking & sense demon), more 'can't be targetted by spells', etc.

    I'm very happy in the direction the game is going, outside of Face hunter and Dr Boom. I'm excited for what we'll see in the coming years.

    So, I'm relatively new to playing with warrior, I mainly stuck to Warlock and Priest, but Grim Patron made me really want to play a card around him. I've played with the deck about 10 times in its current iteration, and it seems to work fairly well, however I think that my low rank might be attributed to that.

    The basic idea is to stall out until turn 8 - Patron + Commander, Turn 9 - Frothing berserker, Whirlwind win. With  Sludge Belcher, Shield Block, Antique Heal bot for mid game and Annoy-o-tron for early game, I find stalling isn't usually too hard. Emperor Thaurissan can cause a turn 7/8 insta win. Troggzor, I felt, fits better in this deck than the more common Dr. Boom, but I think a lot of legendaries can fit this spot. I was just going against quite a few mages/burn shamans and Trogg was hard for them to remove. 

    Thusfar, my primary issues have been based around Patrons paltry 3 health. It's not a sticky minion at all, and outside of Commander + Patron, I'm not sure when else you can play the patron. MANY classes have spells that can just clear however many patrons you have. Also, I'd love to include Execute and a BGH. 

    I'm still a bit of a novice, so I'm looking for any suggestions people may have. Thanks!

    Heroic first wing seemed easy. Naxx's first wing was easy, too, though. I'd say withhold judgement at least until 3 wings are opened.
