1. That 54% is the ARCHETYPE QUEST SHAMAN WR data in hsreplay, not MY LIST WR (that's the one below) which...
2. is 70% instead of 80% because, as I have previously explained in another comment thread, the deck didn't worked so well in the first 5 days of september.
it is hard to master, but I tested it over 30+ games so sample is acceptable. AoE and Silence are completely oriented for a control deck. If you play trying to suck out the maximum value from double battlecries, you will get rushed by aggro decks. The magic of this deck lies between its capacity of becoming quite a midrange deck with big medium pressure and its huge burst at the end.
Also the WR is at the end, I screenshot it 3 days after publishing this (in September), and the WR went down because the meta is very unstable the first days of the season, but 70% is pretty good tho :)
Siamat is always a good card. I prefered Zilliax for its lower cost, but they both have more or less the same effect. If you want to replace another card and run both Zil and Sia, you could cut out a MCT for better late game or Hagatha for more tempo maybe :) thanks for commenting
Absolutely. It depends on the meta decks... If you are facing many board extender decks, MCT is still a good option. But anyway I agree with you, maybe you can replace it with Vulpera Scoundral which is the standard choice... but I still don't find it useful. I'd rather replace it for Mutatex2
It worked for me this late August... I made sure it was good before uploading it, that is why I tested it over 30+ games. After 3 days of September, when the meta is very unstable, I did very poorly in the first 10 games of the month, that is why it appears 70% on the screenshot ): which is still a pretty good WR tho
Thanks for commenting! I wouldn't orientate this deck to a control type with so many board clears... it's not a control deck. Sandstorm Elemental can take you out of a hurry with double battlecries and re-plays with bog slosher. You shouldn't play this deck aiming for a long term game :)
Thanks for commenting!! Mates here are right. Zilliax could be included in many many decks, so I would suggest you to craft it. In other case, Mutate is a really nice tempo choice, and if you are looking for more stabilization tools, a second giggling inventor could be ok, or if you are facing too many Murlocs, even Hungry Crab can be a really fun tech card as well :)
Thanks for commenting! I would strongly suggest you to include Mutate, it is a default choice in this archetype (great psynergy with Mogu or Giggles). Other flashy options could be Siamat for catch up tempo, or Vulpera Scoundral for getting more value :)

Great replacement for former champ if you want to get a massive late game!

Thanks for commenting! I'm glad it helped you! Former Champion is a great card with your upgraded hero power, 11/11 for 7 mana!!
