You know, back before this Gadgetzan mess I played a Pirate Warrior in Wild. Since Deathlord and Sludge Belcher are a thing, I played for tempo and then saved up for a huge burst at the end.
Thanks for making my favorite Wild deck cancer team 5
I'm having so little fun with the game that I just uninstalled it yesterday.
With the amount of RNG in this game, I might as well be learning how to count cards in online Blackjack. Can Team 5 start encouraging creative deckbuilding instead of forcing archetypes down our throats? Jesus.
I hate how 95-99% of legend decks have to have at least one legendary in it.
Just a bad situation for any f2p players. From the way the tournament decks are structured, if you don't have Bloodmage Thalnos and Ragnaros don't even bother playing the game.
Blackwing Technician isn't as situational as you think as Dragon Priest always has enough dragons to make sure you get its intended effect. Even if you don't have a dragon in your hand immediately, you'll probably have one by turn 3 as long as you mulligan properly.
Dragon Priest only has a few early game minions to speak of right now that are 1 and 2 drops, which include Northshire Cleric (probably the best scenario for this card to get any use), Twilight Whelp, Netherspite Historian, Museum Curator I guess and the most likely to survive would be Wyrmrest Agent but you're not going to get cheap minions every time. Since Priest doesn't have the ability to lay out early game minions since they're mostly 2 drops, I can't see these vanilla stat cards making it to turn 3 very often. Maybe there could be some experimentation to replace Power Word: Shield? Even so, this card still costs way too much since that 3 mana keeps it from comboing with the big stat lategame/midrange minions where Priest has its advantage.
I suppose this card would be good on turn 4 in combination with a Northshire Cleric. Hopefully your opponent doesn't have a board clear or cheap removal by then.
I guess this card would be good for Arena. Constructed is what I'm talking about.
Unless you can give yourself health, this card is going to be way too situational since you'll be fighting for the board by the time you want to play him. Blackwing Technician does a better job.
We'll see what other cards they have for Priest though.

This deck is definitely breaking the meta that I'm stuck in. Everyone's so wrapped in aggro crap that they don't bother to run any decent AOEs.
Thanks for the deck and for keeping Shamanstone strong.

I'll see if the meta improves in a month.

Guess this'll have to go in every Priest deck from now on.

One of the few Priest cards from this expansion I'm excited about, should make trading with Druids (and in general) a lot easier.

If only Priests had AOEs that actually put minions on the board
