I doubt they will nerf evolve its a wild card that will be here just until next expansion, but yeah i hope the quest gets nerfed since i opened a gold one
you toss desert hare in for sure, i would keep the mct but take out hagatha and stormbringer for plague of murlocs or some other tech against nzoth priest
So most likely secret paladin is gonna be very strong, silvanas is a card that can easily see play in highlander decks, N'zoth is a card you have to pay atention, emperor and kun both scream combo, maybe we can see some aggro/quest mage, thief rogue will get stronger but i dont think it will be enough, priest could finally reach that critical mass of AoE where a control deck just forms itself, and shaman could get even more unfun evolve decided games.
This is all an opnion but yeah i think they will all see some play and change decks but i am not sure if it will change what you feels when you play ladder that much, you could end up just seing some slight diferent highlander decks, an aoe evolve quest shaman and maybe more combo quest druids
If the leaked cards are real i can see secret pally coming back, as well n'zoth and silvanas(BFA anyone?) making a deathrattle heavy decks even better, Kun and thaurisan can make combo decks even better and quest rogue could become real for a while.
no way they should remove the interaction because of this, theres no other card that we can argue should be destroyed because this is the only minon that replaces your hero, so its not a hero card like some people seem to insist after all you can get lord J on board. I understand the frustation but for me removing it is only making Jaraxxus a hero card that says minion for some reason, Zephyr will eventually go and Jaraxxus will stay so you can complain about him not being playable for some other reason
From what I can see here, it seems that any card in basic or classic that is still considered good "needs" to be HoF'd, haha.
I still think it's ok for some old strategies to still work, and for some cards to be powerful. This whole idea that people "win the game" with a turn 1 Northshire Cleric, or that a couple of 9 cost dragons are "broken" just exhausts me. I'd rather see more creative additions to the game, rather than the removal of a few more interesting, worthwhile older cards.
Those cards are more than good, they are the best cards at what they do, leeroy is the best finisher for aggro decks, malygos is the card you look at for mana cheat and cheap spells, alex is that card you will always think about for setting up an OTK. they are really cool cards but there is no way to make a similar card thats better without it being broken
People that downplay skill saying its just time spent and RNG cant get the concept of consistency, if you put more time into HS you will take out most of the RNG factor, sometimes you will highroll sometimes you wont, and them you can measure your actual win rate with a deck/style. If you spend more time after a certain point it will hardly matter for your climb, at higher ranks its really hard to just play a 50+% winrate deck you got somewhere and think you will actually get that winrate, people adapt, change tech cards and even what decks you face can change because theres pockets meta.
If you cant get over RNG maybe most video games arent for you, even fps nowadays have bloom rng, if you are just tilted just close the game and do something else for 30-40 min. One thing that can help me is checking on my friends list what people at a similar rank are playing/facing so i know if my quest shaman should have 1 or 2 MC techs maybe i even might wanna a crab or tinkmaster or and extra silence.
Maly and Alex really should go with leeroy people die to these cards since forever.
While i dont think they restrict cards too much right now (Maly does) they are kinda just too good at what they do for a card to take its place without it being broken.
Ps: also brawl rng and unstopable northshire draws really pile on over the years
guys that say we need more control decks should understand that CW is the deck that kills other controls decks since it can keep up or even outvalue while being better against aggro decks, strong aggro decks dont make it so theres is only 1 control deck, a control deck that is at the same time the ultmate anti aggro and value generator decks does.
The Boom nerf seemed fine for me as did the galaxy nerf, you really should not want to keep a 5 or 7 mana card in your hand in most matchups
its really hard to say but i think it will see a lower win rate, its strong not only against warrior but also against mage and priest being a really good meta deck right now but not an all powerfull deck in any meta. it does have pretty decent matchups across the board so it will still be a solid deck.
my guess is that it wont work, it seems like you really wanna rather play control shaman and have 2 cards of your answers instead, also maybe too many 7+ cost cards.

you will get 1 legendary in the first 10 packs of an expansion so i am guessing theres some of it, but yeah lucky for sure

Jaina being kept was only on control matchups, you really wanted to find your aoe against other decks and combo was almost an auto loss anyway.
I bet you can keep boom in control matchups still, but most control decks right now can go the distance against warrior.

Yeah its really fair, the only kinda unfair time was baku and the mage legendary but i guess you could still make it work if you really wanted.

yeah its kinda inconsistent, i would rather have it always trigger in the order on the card than how its now just so i know whats gonna happen
