I feel like you are underestimating these changes.
To me the problem with Shaman in this meta is the fact that they can summon 2 8/8s on turn 7/8 consistently, not the fact that they can summon 2 8/8. If it happened as 4/4s, or they had to wait until 9/10 mana it wouln't be oppresive.
So nerfing the busted invoke cards they have is the correct move, they can't really "fix" their Galakrond without messing with the flavor of the card (other classes), but as they can invoke x2 and also their Invoke is tempo oriented it's not fair
Also I don't think the Faceless change is enough, they still can trade 1/1 with a giant and that's just not ok.
And when looking at the Fleshaper I've seen people complaining that now it can mutate into Colossus of the Moon. Really? Is that really your concern? Maybe think it is now way more difficult to be played in the first place. Sometimes I feel like we just like complaining no matter what they do.
Question: Does this effect kill a board of Jades in wild? They have different stats and artworks depending on the progress of the jade deck even if they are all "Jade Golems", so I'm kinda confused about this.
It's not 5 mana because, remember, Baku the Mooneater still exists in Wild, and it's causing a lot of problems in the form of odd paladin.
So yeah, better delete Gen and Baku one and for all, they are not fair to play against and they force blizz to print weird costed cards to play around even and odd.
I see you are all.. excited? for this card. I hope you are all wrong about its power level, because if it actually works, we all know
Blizzard's anti-fun policy with combo decks. And the cards that will pay the price will probably be Malygos & Friends.
When a combo is strong in Standard, Blizzard straight up kills it nerfing the enabler (which BTW is not Jepetto, way too slow even if you run stuff like Baleful Banker )
And I personally don't like my classic cards getting nerfed, specially since I play Wild and if you kill it in Standard, the shit splashes all over to Wild. Druid is already dead, and it was thanks to the Psychmelon, a card like Jepetto.
People are freaking out about possible degenerate combos with Velen, Maly and stuff, but this card IS NOT A COMBO ENABLER.
This is 8 mana, and by the time you can play this, you've probably drawn 60% of your deck (assuming you play this on curve) and among the cards already drawn might be your big combo minions.
The only use I see for this card is with some battlecry / deathrattle shenannigans, mostly in Wild.

If you think about it, it's a Glacial Shard with Rush, and that card was played standalone, so this is not as bad as it may seem

The wording is not clear to me. Shouldn't it be "transform a friendly minion into a copy of this"? Or does this apply randomly to one of your minions?

Obviously a Magma Rager synergy card, I see what you did there Blizzard ;)

That moment when you see a decent legendary for control warrior and think about the possibilities in Wild.
... and then you realize the cost of this card is even. Welp.

How does the Horror interact with a card like Hagatha's Scheme?
Will the spell upgrade each turn while "learnt" by the minion?

It's a tutor card. Therefore, this can't be bad.
Maybe not now, but it will see play in some deck in the future.

I'm already waiting for Dane's Wild Sneed's - Oblivitron Hunter shenanigans video ;)

As a Wild player, I'm NOT happy at all that Genn and Baku are staying in Wild.
But we are always used as Blizz's dumpster of cards so nvm, I'm kinda alright.

This will be lit in Wild. I'm surely going to try the silver hand recruit deck, sounds like it may be a thing :)
