Here is what I was kicking around when it occurred to me I might be violating the rules.

Does Harth fall under the restriction for previously unplayable NPC's?

... or more importantly, would my submission be disqualified?

Still hoping to find out if I am on the wrong side of the rules before I submit.
Idk how the mods will rule it, but I agree with the others that said it probably wouldn't fly. I'm not familiar with Harth being playable in any sense as an existing hero or as an existing legendary card or legendary token. I mean, sure, he exists in the game already, but so do plenty of Adventure bosses, and the rules go out of their way to specify that's insufficient and doesn't qualify.
Hence why I posted here to ask first.

So, I think I will put Harth back in the drawer for today and just throw in something a little less controversial.

I would vote for this in a heartbeat omg.
Btw if you're posting the quotes on your submission, would you also have something for Tarnished Coin? That card doesn't really get out a lot but still.
I honestly didn't know there even was a Tarnished Coin!  I'd be happy to toss another quote in. Without context for the brawl(s) it was used in, here is what I'm thinking:
    When consuming Tarnished Coin:
    • "Some people throw anything away..."
    • "As long as it still spends..."
    • "It ain't the shine that matters..."
    • "Let me give you a better home..."

    Any other ideas?

So I had a little extra time away from my desk this week and wanted to get in early with a design that not only fit the Theme, but also told its own little story.

This trusty little guy comes in early and has an immediate impact on board state.  But when he dies, he leaves behind his weapon, allowing you to take up his cause, and charge into battle alongside your own "dragon-mounts" For a couple turns anyways.

    Grats to all the finalists!

I have to say, trying to make my own "Craftable" card was a lot harder than I expected it to be, especially balancing ALL the costs and effects and finding a way to present the choices in a grokkable format.  It may not be perfectly balanced to live, but I'm just glad people enjoyed the direction I took with it.

    Good luck everyone!

posted a message on Yong Woo: Easier to get Wild Cards, Deckslots, Promo Heroes are Coming Back

I doubt this would happen.  The people who want to play "competitively" will buy in early.  They glean value by having access to the "best" cards while they are hot in the meta.  The people who want to play "casually" will gain value by adding these cards to their collection at a cheaper "price" by being patient.

The ones that will be sour because they want to pay the cheaper price up front, are likely to be the people you can't please no matter what you do.

Similar to Kazakus,Crafting a weapon with Deadorn would offer 3 choices to select from before adding the card to your hand.  You start off with a basic 1/1 Weapon...

    and make the following selections:

    Choice 1:  Cost

    Choice 2: Type

    Choice 3: Imbuement

Assets would be simplified to Pictures for each TYPE of weapon (Hammer, Axe, Sword), however they are omitted here to limit submission size.
