So we're now power creeping class cards into neutral commons now?
Jesus fucking christ.

I strongly advise recording a video of these pack openings cursing in German with distorted, overbalanced audio.

Yes Blizzard, Zoolock is way better than Discardlock.

Blizzard this is for you.

Give them a break, they are just a small indie company and really need revenue..

feels sad when people think this is because gwent and TES: legends, those games have low(really low) population(compared with hs), the second digital CCG most played is shadowerse actually. Still those games are not the reason, is the "rhythm" of the population in the game, the 2 months after a set realease is pure experimentation with the highest population in the game, them, after the 2 months HS team already say many times the population rate drop as hell, the meta turns boring or predicted, that's why they do this, I will sound like a blizz-fanboy but Blizzard really don't give a fuck about competition, all blizz games changes or events creation is not created because the competition, they never care of them

I do not see why many people concentrate on alternative design being worst than the original...The point is: the original sucks. Dot.

Nah, they're going to give the excuse that refreshing mana is too complicated for a basic set card. I know, it's retarded, but this is how they treat the player base. I heard ben commenting that they care about the -really- noob players, like the ones that have a hard time completing the game tutorial...
You know, they're balancing a strategy card game around people with the mental capacity of a 2 year old. It's like... I'm not a genius or anything, I'm utterly terrible at tactics style games, really bad. But I don't expect XCom to have an "impossible to lose" difficulty level to cater to people like myself, that would probably only piss off the actual player base.
Remember the "more deck slots would confuse our players"? Yeah. And it's not even like the whole game is completely comprehensive, there are tons of little corner case interactions that aren't obvious (see the "copy theme" post they did earlier today), and the fact that there isn't a rulebook to the game doesn't help at all.
I honestly don't know if they're just using the "too complicated" excuse because taking the risk of nerfing innervate and not solving the problem was too big, or if they actually think players are this st00pid.
... Un'Goro was going so well.

Why not have info like this available all the time @ the official site? Even better, in game, it's a digital game after all. You can cut the credits button, let's face it, if someone ever clicked that it was by mistake.

This ^
I'm baffled by some of the justifications they come up with for decisions they make. And this understanding of the player base having the intellectual capacity of a newborn baby, like when they were saying more deckslots would be too confusing... I get it, there are stupid people, but maybe don't balance your strategy game around that particular demographic.

Huh, innervate is now a Counterfeit Coin .
Probably a good call. Still feels weird AF.
Btw all the good basic cards being nerfed will ultimately make it a lot harder for newer players to compete with someone who already owns set cards.

Hahaha, honestly I think it's a fun one. I got to play the crappy mage Mysterious Challenger on turn one, which is fun. Not competitive, but fun.
But it's undeniable there is a high risk of people who hadn't crafted ultimate infestation yet to just do it now... and if you thought druid were already overrepresented on ladder, immagine after this brawl hahaha
And yeah, it's pretty much a broken format. I have mixed feelings about this, but this one I personally liked.

Still get 2 packs, same as the winner, right?
Kolento also didn't win when I picked him, but he made it to the finals and I got max packs. SO THE JOKE IS ON YOOOOU muwahahaha

The only thing worst than a salty thread is people who link to the mega salty thread. It's almost as if they're always lurking, looking for an opportunity to ctrl+v their link.

In Kolento we trust.
I didn't even know who was in each team, but I know Kolento is from ukraine, so the choice was really easy.
6
Wow, that was not bad at all. I actually laughed.
Are the days of cringy HS ads over? One can only hope.

I am of the unpopular opinion that they're doing a fairly decent job. I can't point my finger to many times in HS history when all classes had good competitive decks, but since Un'goro we're in one of those times. And we should cherish that fact, because it's not an easy task doing this. It's not like you can go into a blizz pc and type in "make every playable", older players will know how bad it used to be.
That said, I always get ticked off when they say "cards aren't designed to be auto-include". That is not a good argument at all, all classes have auto-include cards. Are you going to nerf arcane intelect, Animal Companion, Kill Command, Truesilver Champion, Northshire Cleric, Power Word: Shield, Backstab and Fiery War axe? No, right? Good. So don't tell me card X is auto include and therefore must be looked at. Tell me that card X poses a threat to the game because Y,Z and X and therefore it is reasonable to do something about it.
