ScaryKoolaid posted a message on The worst original decks encountered on ladder.Posted in: General Deck BuildingI actually lost to it but I think he had to have the luckiest draw.
Guy goes turn 4 Voidcaller and I think I'm playing against the standard demon lock. Turn 5 he trades his caller for my Piloted Shredder and out pops Lord Jaraxxus as a 3/15, which he copies with Faceless Manipulator - I wasn't really trying to trade a ton for 2x 3/15s so I decided to try and pressure his life total on my turn 5. Turn 6 he goes 2x Crazed Alchemist and OTK kills me for 30 with 2x 15/3 Jaraxxi. -

Sykomyke posted a message on Who needs more nerfing, Dr.Boom or Frothing Beserker?Posted in: General DiscussionQuote from Asylum_Rhapsody jumpPeople who want Frothing Berserker or Warsong Commander nerfed are ridiculous. Leave those poor cards alone. They've been around since the game came out, and they were never problematic before. They finally get the chance to shine a little bit a new deck archetype and people start screaming for nerfs? And it's the same people whining about how we should buff old bad cards too.
If you want to nerf any part of Patron Warrior, Emperor Thaurissan should be the first logical candidate. That card is plainly ridiculous and needs to be nerfed into the ground. Give it the Nat Pagle treatment and make it start of turn instead of end of turn.
Erm. Please do prior research before making fallacious statements.
http://hearthstone.gamepedia.com/Patch_1.0.0.4458
- Warsong Commander has been reworked and now reads: Whenever you play a minion with 3 or less Attack, give it Charge. [This patch note is mistaken: the card was in fact changed to read "Whenever you summon a minion with 3 or less Attack, give it Charge"]
- Charge (the spell, not the keyword) has been reworked and now costs 3 mana. The card’s new power reads: “Give a friendly minion +2 Attack and Charge”.
- Both of these cards were key components in “One Turn Kill” or “OTK” decks that kill your opponent in one turn without requiring any cards on the board. We want the game to be about playing minions and fighting for board control rather than just waiting until you can play your big combo and win in one turn with no interaction from your opponent.
Consequently I'm kinda LOLing at blizzard remarks regarding OTK decks. Where's your god now players? Oh wait....that's right Blizzard is our god when it comes to balance. I guess they thought they wouldn't make revenue off basic cards, but Patron Warrior requires players to buy BRM, so if they nerf Warsong they end up nerfing their sales for BRM.

Asylum_Rhapsody posted a message on How to contact Blizzard about threats made by a player?Posted in: General DiscussionUnfortunately, as there is no reporting system in the game itself, the best that you can do it take a screen shot or something, and then submit a ticket to customer support here:
https://us.battle.net/support/en/help/ticket/hearthstone/567
That's what the Blue's recommend doing, anyway, which is a shame because they're awfully dodgy about the fact that that's a really crappy reporting system. -

Sam_Bell posted a message on Toxic players adding you after games.Posted in: General DiscussionQuote from Parlophone jumpit got kind of boring and slow due to the way he was playing so I started spamming emotes at him to try to get him to either play faster or to concede because I was clearly going to beat him.
So because someone could be thinking about a play or possible outcomes you start spamming emotes?
That's pretty toxic in in itself.

In MTG you don't offer the loser your hand to shake, you let the loser decide wether he wants to offer his. Given how variance is a thing in all card games, it's not like a loser always deserved the loss, but I think magic rewards a good player a lot more than HS, meaning the best out of the two will more often win (unless ridiculously bad matchup).
HS on the other hand has so much RNG, sometimes you literally have zero merit for winning a game, this has happened to everyone, you just open with a bonkers hand and whatever your opponent does, you're 3 steps ahead, and even the RNG is in your favor. So it's easy to assume your opponent is, at the very least, like "huh, this is bullshit". Do you think he wants to hear a "well played" from you?

While I have nothing against the deck, all the satisfaction I had was with the patches animation... and that lasted for, what? 5 games?
Playing it quickly becomes a chore rather than fun, for me at least.
Also, don't apologise for netdecking, don't apologize for playing whatever the hell you want, let the salty guys do their thing and move on.

Lol, easy mech mage.

Did you manage to end the game? Lol, never seen that visual bug before.

Dusted Reno? Wow. Blizz did clearly troll by allowing people to dust adventure cards, when people are desperate for dust they make bad decisions apparently.
There's more to consider. You say you have almost enough for 2 legendaries... and you don't have kazakus. Are there other legendaries/epics/rares you don't have for the reno deck?
At some point you need to stop burning all your dust and start piling it up, or you'll end up dusting more stuff you shouldn't.
2
Keep in mind that'll take what... 2 or 3 months until reno rotates out from standard, and they already confirmed they're not pushing reno effects next expansion. So if you're on a tight budget and want to play standard, know that. Warlock reno decks die without a healing like reno, priest could probably still exist... so from that perspective, kazakus. But Jaraxxus is always going to be standard valid (unless they change the rules, which is not off the table at this point).

They'd give refund regardless if they were moved to wild, they said that already.

Not too interesting to be honest. A lot of rambling and not too much insight to make us understand what is going on over there.
