The idea is good, but although the rules are quite merciful on wording, I still do not recommend making custom keywords. Since custom keywords are not allowed in the competition for most of the time, unless there is a rule clearly indicates that you can make custom keywords, or the competition theme itself is based on custom keywords. Last week's competition was a perfect example.

Since the rules allow the card to give other minions such an ability, I came up with this idea. My idea is to provide a way to counter Galakrond in the late game. This card will make EVIL classes double think and encourage them to make as much minion trades as possible before they play their Galakrond. Because after they transform into Galakrond while leaving minions on the board, they may potentially take an enormous amount of damage through minion trading when this card is played.

However, notice that when you play this, you CANNOT be Galakrond yourself. Otherwise, the damage will also be dealt to you. By doing this, I feel like to make this card fit the Explorers classes more, as they do not have Galakrond.

The concept of this card is very interesting and I really like it. But the card itself seems underpowered. Since aggro decks can just ignore this card and end the game before this becomes effective, the cost is also too high as a board clear against aggro decks. Against control decks in late game, 4 damage usually cannot make a huge impact. Therefore, I think it is fine to buff this card a little bit, maybe lower the cost or increase the damage.

By the way, always remember to add periods between multiple keywords. The current version of your card won't get credit if you submit it like this.

To make it clear, it brings back your dragons killed by spells like Twisting NetherDOOM!Plague of Flames or any damage spell you use to kill your dragons like HellfireDefile

I just submitted this card, feel free to give me some feedback. :)

"While most young whelps are shy, this one rather joins in on the fun!"

I have say this card is quite overpowered. But let's split it into two parts.

The first part of the battlecry is totally fine. Compare it with Cloud Prince. If your card only printed as "Battlecry: If you control a Dragon, deal 6 damage." I would even consider it a little bit weak.

Yet, the real problem is the second part. If I get it right, this card triggers the second part of the battlecry even though you have an empty board, which makes it unacceptable. Look into the cards like Troggzor the Earthinator Windshear Stormcaller and Jan'alai, the Dragonhawk, you can easily notice that 2 in 1 cards like them usually require special setups or strict prerequisites. Besides, cards with flexibility always cost more, consider Branching Paths

In addition, please check you wordings. You are missing a colon after the word "Battlecry", and the word "summon" is never capitalized unless it is the first word of the sentence.

Therefore, I strongly recommend you to re-balance and remake your card.

As a new card creator, I'm keen for feedback on this please.

Please double check the rules. Your card AND token have to INTERACT with dragons. Merely a dragon tribe does not count.

It is my honor to be the creator of this week's theme :) . I will try to give some feedbacks later. And before that, here are my ideas for this week:

I would say, both cards were made as bold attempts. Kage is powerful on its own and can be very broken if you have Malygos or other dragons with special effects. I guess it needs further balancing or rework.

About nether guardian, I am also having a hard time balancing it. Although the battlecry is extremely situational, it is still a solid card to play on its own. Consider the fact that the upcoming meta in DOD will be dragon-heavy, this card has the potential to provide a huge tempo swing-back or even a game finisher. I really wish to see more comments regarding to this card.

you don't want to have a weapon equipped when you play this since weapons are activated during your turn, which means this minion also takes damage when it attacks your hero.

Just a small point here.  When a minion attacks a hero with an equipped weapon, the minion does not take damage.

Thanks for the feedback! But I believe it does take damage. I remember when one of your minion triggers Misdirection and attacks your hero with a weapon equipped, it takes weapon damage. This card works in the same way.

@Adamaxes See I like the flavor here given the idea of Rastakhan. The issue is there's no real downside, so it's far too consistent (That's more of a facet of it being start of game). I'd recommend instead of start of game, that this card is drawn when an overkill minion actually overkills something.

My idea for this week's theme. I am really having a hard time balancing it. On one hand, you have to use one precious slot for a minion with bad stats, you have to build a deck around it, plus the overkill cards are generally not popular. But on the other hand, giving them lifesteal seems a little bit overpowered.

I also have another idea in mind but since I am still working on balancing, I decide not to post it right away.

    Rehost your images on imgur.

He should have better stats, 4 mana 3/4 Taunt, maybe. Effect is rather niche. But honestly, running a few of the neutral Overkill minions if they had Lifesteal is excellent. 4 mana 3/5 Lifesteal and Overkill: Gain 3 Armor is a huge roadblock for aggro, just as an example.

Thank both of you for the feedback! I would like to keep it as what it is right now.

And about rehosting, hearthcards now has the ability to generate permanent link so that the image will not become void. I have already used it several times and it worked perfectly fine. But I will be more than pleased to rehost it to imgur if doing so is required.

Then, I would like to introduce the second idea for this week:

A warrior minion with a side effect. However, the amount of damage dealt to you depends on how much armor you have. Here are examples about how it works: if you have less than 7 armor, you will get hit once; if you have 8 armor, you will get hit twice; if you have 20 armor, you will get hit 3 times. And although it seems to fit very well in aggro decks, you don't want to have a weapon equipped when you play this since weapons are activated during your turn, which means this minion also takes damage when it attacks your hero.

As we don't have existing examples in game, I need more people to help me balance it.

I have to say this card is too overpowered. Reducing the cost of all cards in your hand without any prerequisite + taunt and reborn is already too powerful, AND you can run two copies in your deck. I think it will be acceptable if this reduces the cost of a random card in your hand by 1.

Besides, please check your spellings. If I get it right, you are making Emperor Thaurissan's apprentice.

Silverback Patriarch + The Untamed Kong: 3 mana 5/6 legendary beast "Can't attack until you feed it with a Banana".

Bananas are generated by Banana Buffoon King Mukla and Mukla, Tyrant of the Vale. To make it able to attack, cast a copy of Bananas on it.

Got the second place last week so that I will try again this week! I came up with 2 ideas:

    Bananas

It is a combination of Fierce Monkey + 3 mana 5/5 legendary beast with the effect. I really like this idea so far but also worrying that it might be too powerful as a taunt even when it cannot attack. Also, I will be grateful if anyone can provide me with better art and name for this card.

Jungle Panther + 3 mana 5/4 rare beast with the effect. This card is inspired by the famous game Werewolves of Miller's Hollow. Basically a card with no downside if it is your only minion on the board, and you can still potentially minimize the lost by placing it well when you have other minions. The problem is that it might have a way too high attack as a stealth minion.

A short question just in case, we can put beasts from ANY class into our custom zombeasts, correct?
