Shadow Dragons are cruel and unstable, but are powerful and can give you great power.
Priest needs a better 5 drop.
The drawback is worse the more minions you have on the board, and you can no longer heal since you are in Shadowform.
Can synergize extremely well with Circle of Healing/Holy Nova (Northshire Cleric survives the damage).
It's a dragon! Can be used with Blackwing Technicians and Blackwing Corrupters. Even Twilight Whelps survives the drawback.
Now that there are 4 cards that put your hero in Shadowform, what happens when you use number 3 and 4? Well, here's an answer:
A few notes on this as well:
It hurts holding on to too much power you don't have complete control over.
This card is put into your hand when you play Shadowform or Shadow Dragon when already at level 2 Shadowform (similiar to Wild Growth/Excess Mana for Druid).
There's a drawback here too. (As you may want to save it for a turn to use your Hero Power.)
5 randomly split damage can help Shadow Priests vs Zoo.
Seems powerful, but there is a drawback, and Shadowform already costs 3 mana and would do nothing except putting this card into your hand.
You need another 2 mana for your Hero Power for it to be effective, but if you are desperate you can dump it without using your Hero Power to avoid the damage.
When in level 2 Shadowform, makes a turn 8 Shadow Dragon into Excess Shadow Power into Hero Power a strong comeback play.
