it never took me long to get to legend and I've done it 5 times so far (Standard: Big Druid, Spell Hunter before ZulJin ^^) (Wild: 3x Togwaggle Druid). The lowest win rate was with Big Druid at around 64% and the highest with Spell Hunter with 70%+ from 5 to legend.
I wouldn't consider myself a good player, but decent. Highest legend finish was 44 (Wild obviously, but Kingsbane ruined my day)
Might try to get that Legend 1 finish once just to prove it to myself. But OP is right, it doesn't affect anyone in any way. Just for your own ego, I suppose. :P
I agree with the Barnes proposed nerf.. Big priest is a problem, not mainly because its winrate, but because its ability to cheat out the big minions so early...
But the win rates of odd rogue and even shaman are really high.. I really like the concept of cards that limit the cards you can put in your deck. Kazakus (best card EVER), Reno, the princes, baku and genn all led to new decks. But I do think that some of these cards are simply toopowerful. Looking at the winrate of even shaman and odd rogue in wild I think baku and genn should indeed be nerfed a bit. (Together with barnes). I think if the winrate of odd rogue and even shaman drops a few percentages the meta would be a lot better...
I think that a good solution to both baku and genn would be to change the ‘start of game’-part of the cards to ‘ifthiscard is in your opening hand’ and ensure that (similarly to the quests) the card will always appear in your starting hand. This way the only way to get the benefit of baku and genn would be to keep it in your opening hand, which will ensure even shaman and odd rogue will not snowball so easily anymore because they have a clunky 6 or 9 card in their opening hand. This might just be the minor nerf these two cards need without changing the idea behind them.
I'm not sure about the wording, but i like the idea. might as well help aggressive decks against odd warrior. ;)
Now i have to say it's either Renolock (that might be better against aggro), Renomage (good tools to compete against anything if you draw ok) and Renopriest. maybe you want to take a closer look at Fatigue Warrior too.
When a card is auto-include in every deck since the day it was released, it means there is something wrong with that card. All nerfs were correct.
But Nourish wasn't. Only UI and a few combo decks made it playable. I wish at least one of them would've not been nerfed. Didn't matter what of those two but Nourish should have left untouched because of UI rotating. Wild Growth on the other hand was too dominant. I have to admit this.
Soo, Kingsbane is half Dead. More burgle themed spectral deck might still be a thing tho. Odd Paladin lost a lot of power. Shudderwock lost a lot as well they wont get 1 mana shudder that Easy anymore.
For druid. It is druid they still have crazy armor gain and shit. But they are missing turn now. Which can open the possibility of Keleseth for druids actually
They cant get shudders for 1 mana in standard EVER. Its now only possible with Dopplegangster in wild.
I mostly try some wacky 8-9 card OTK until i get bored and try again with another. The real challenge is to set this up at rank 5 so i rank up with other semi viable decks like nzoth reno mage or dmh control warrior. ;)
The card is situational and happens to be good in most situations currently. I was correct then and I am correct now.
Wrong, there were many "Nerf" threads about this card for a reason. It provides protection against any sized minion and can buff your dudes in the best case. Dude paladin was a tier 1 deck BECAUSE of him. And not just for weeks.
Right and you missed where I said earlier that it was an okay card upon release that just was made much better over time when supporting cards were released. By definition it is situational, in that you need a board in order to create value trades or turn your 1/1s into 3/3s.
Per definition, any built around card like Tarim is a 5 Star Meta Defining card. It just cannot be just okay. Every non Odd Paladin deck wants and should run it.
Yeah, but that's not because there is no playable archetype. The Pro players just do not want a control deck with a clear win condition other than outlasting the opponent.

If you are not into Clone Priest I wouldn't craft it either. You could just wait and see if it might get better in the future.

For me the most complete was my togwaggle druid in wild, but it got killed. This shows the strength of wild growth: https://hsreplay.net/replay/Cnf9QNesdrCYQKkKuCytE8 (At around rank 50 legend)

By your logic... why got Aviana nerfed? If that's what wild needs- Crazy, imbalanced cards? I can't stand such comments with no hindsight.

I'm not familiar with this, but what is the boxing day? Does it come from opening the gifts?

Yes it was the problematic part, because healing every turn like you just drew reno isn't fun. It's outright broken...

It's still a good deal.

What should be nerfed? The meta is refining, but no deck feels oppressive at all at the moment.

It's the best 1 drop for warrior right now and can be magnetized with Zilliax in the late game too. :)
