mastertygon posted a message on Dean Ayala: No More Even & Odd Cards for Witchwood, More Stat Tracking Isn't NeededPosted in: NewsChances are, the entire concept is going to see no play. It is complete dogshit with the currently revealed cards and cubelock as well as Highlander Priest will shit all over those decks with no additional support. Hopefully, the unrelated cards yet to be revealed will help the concept, but I think we might be looking at yet another Freeze Shaman situation: a half-baked idea from some dumb designer that only tried half as hard as they should have.

Bbbbbbbbbbb posted a message on Dean Ayala (IksarHS) Discusses Arena and RoguesPosted in: NewsTLDR; we don't care what you think. Miracle is good right now. No AOE for rogue ever. Combo mechanic is good.
Rogue main since closed beta. Arena is not fun for me. So I personally don't care about arena. Arena drafts should be 20 common cards. 6 rare. 3 epic and 1 legend. 5, 2, 1 spells drafted respectively after you draft minions of that quality. long story short, mmr in arena is good. Let kripp play kripp like players over and over and increase the rewards based on a shown mmr. Yeah I know you guys don't like showing the player the mmr because it would reveal how basic the matching making really is in blizzard games. this stupid game has been a hobby of mine for a long time and wow before that and the stupid ferryman card might actually do it for me with blizzard games. I play rogue because playing your outs is a lot harder than playing curve stone garbage.
End rant.

Star bonus 10 is for legend players. Star bonus 11 is for legend players who finish top 1500.

Demonic Project a really strong counter to Shudderwock Shaman. Two chances to hit an important combo piece or Shudderwock itself.

Even though this is a troll deck posting, most of these cards arent even a bad craft, except for Tar Lords and the new warrior legendary Geosculptor Yip. Im guessing the point of the troll is to get people to burn 1600-1800 dust.

Jab said he got it from Rooftrellen.

So who did?

Yeah, I think Kolento is wrong about Control Warrior. When he was explaining it, he was saying that control warrior doesnt need Elise or second brawl. But not having Elise means you can be grinded out and then be stuck with acolytes, shield blocks, slams, etc. I think the deck still relies on Elise for end game to turn dead cards into threats. I posted Justsaiyan's Old Gods Control Warrior, and I think you'll have a much better time of it. He was doing really well even with Yogg.

Either raise the mana cost of Blade Flurry or remove the face damage from the card. Why in the world did Blizzard double nerf this card? If anything, taking away the burst damage from Blade Flurry is reason to LOWER the mana cost to 1, not raise it to an unplayable 4 mana.

You can also look up his Twitch vods to see more gameplay.

Depends on the matchups and what you want to do considering your current hand. Against Freeze Mage and Aggro Shaman, you dont want to even play Finley, since keeping the Armor Up is better than anything you can get. Against Renolock, you want the Hunter heropower to bring them down again after the full heal to 30. Mage heropower lets you ping the Patrons and create more without spells and ping Acolytes for draw. Priest heropower lets you heal the Patrons and Acolytes back up for more value. Druid heropower gives your hero +1 attack, which you can combine with your weapons. So Fiery War Axe + Druid heropower effectively becomes another Death's Bite, which is a really big deal. Shaman heropower lets you put out free minions that you can then damage for a better Battle Rage (beware of spellpower totem and Whirlwind wiping out your board though). And warlock heropower lets you draw cards, which is always nice. Paladin heropower is pretty iffy, and you dont want to take Rogue unless you already used all your weapons.
I hope I answered your question well enough. You should try it out to see what you heropower prefer in what matchups. I personally really like that the same matchups play out completely different depending on what heropower you take. Makes it all more interesting.

The point of the deck is to play a lot of defensive cards to beat aggro consistently, and then use Elise Starseeker to turn those same otherwise useless antiaggro cards into legendary threats to beat control matchups.
