I’m a midrange player most of the time . Aggro decks are essential to balance/diversity in the game . Every game can’t last 30mins it would just be awful. Plus there are certain classes that can generate more value than others (bordering on infinite) meaning one would come out on top and be the new cancer anyway.
The incentive to play aggro is to counter control ( midrange ? I forget ) and there should be a balanced rock , paper , scissors type effect where the meta evolves to counter itself . This is the general appeal of the game for me , ever changing strategies built from a common box of tools .
I understand your frustrations . The current system of experience gain is flawed . I’ve been playing since gvg and there have always been “cancerous” decks . However incentivising one style of play will only strangle diversity . Aiming for better balance is key .

slayercrohs posted a message on Zeddy Hearthstone Needs a Slight Reality CheckPosted in: General DiscussionI never liked the guy and was completely avoiding his streams because he seemed off putting.
and I don't believe he is " fighting for the community" because that statement alone is complete stupidity.
Like everyone else who is into streaming and content creation it's basically his time to shine. More clicks on his videos, more views, more comments, more subscribers and at the end more income for him alone. His comments and opinions actually granted him more attention that he wouldn't normally get.
He's building himself a different kind of audience that are more into his ideas, rather than an audience that enjoys the game and plays for the fun of the game

CakeEater posted a message on Remove Tickatus from the game already.Posted in: Card DiscussionI think the solution is that even when corruped it should still remove 5 cards from your deck so:
Battlecry: Remove 5 cards from your deck
Corrupt: and your opponent's

Anatak89 posted a message on Remove Tickatus from the game already.Posted in: Card DiscussionI understand that you're angry about the card, and the anger is coming through in this post. But, honestly, it is a ridiculous card that probably should never have been made haha. If it was 6 mana 6/6 it would still be played. Even 4/4, it would still be played (although at that point it would be just for annoying the opponent, and it would belong in the priest pool). Tickatus is one of my top 3 reasons for switching games (for now at least). Also, if I didn't switch games, Tickatus is the top reason I play only aggro any more.
Here's hoping the game can revert to its former glory one day!

Indomitos posted a message on Remove Tickatus from the game already.Posted in: Card DiscussionI dont know what low iq card designers blizzard has still left but the fact that somehow a card like this made it into the game again is mindblowing. This card literally makes it unable for anyone to play control decks. You can beat your opponent without even having to fight his deck at all. You can literally just dodge any strategy any well thought archtype just by destroying the deck with a broken Mill card that is not even A TEMPO LOSS. Its a fucking 6 mana 8:8. You lose nothing from playing this card. And with y shaarj you get another 8:8 for free. And if you somehow manage to get more copies of this card through discovering demons or what ever then your entire deck is gone in an instant.
With Rin, the First Disciple you at least got a massiv tempo loss as punishment for trying to destroy your opponents deck what made the card somewhat balanced especially you could also silence it. Your only chance now is to get super lucky by putting 2 Hecklebot in any controll deck and get this card out of the deck without battlecry. If you wonder why aggro exist then the answer is decks like this who ruin an entire meta. Just remove the card /pjsalt

DarkWahlburg posted a message on Il'gynothPosted in: Il'gynothThis card is the most broken OTK I have ever seen in hearthstone. I had lethal next turn no matter what and 22 HP. He slaps it down with 2 Mo'arg Artificer... hits the one in the middle for 2 (yes 2...) damage and hits me for 24 HP? I call BS. If this card isn't nerfed I will lose any desire to continue playing when I see a DH. Auto-concede every time? Not cool man.

OP you do realize it's April 1st?

Feels like the expansion with the best artwork overall, really like many of these :)

Err, Wardruid Loti is a key card in Quest Druid, and probably not a bad rng outcome to get into your hand
2
There shouldn't be a card that allows every deck to have any win condition it needs - i. e. Fireballs for decks that usually can't bypass taunts, Bloodlust for decks that don't count on flooding the board, etc.
It just ruins "identity" and makes it normal to run 2x 8/8s into 2x 1/1s because you're at 8 and opponent might have zeph xD

I feel like this is the unexpectedly super-overpowered card of this expansion...a lot of expensive cards you'd gladly play a turn or 2 sooner in Mage

Hey man, even though this isn't the most optimized list for Quest Paladin (and I haven't played it at all), I enjoyed the read, nice to see sometimes how tough it is for newer players to make something they enjoy playing that isn't getting destroyed left and right on the ladder!
Might I suggest you add 2x Bronze Gatekeeper or 2x Annoy-o-Module? I know you want to swap Zilliax in for Rotten Applebaum, so while you don't have it, I'd cut it for 1 Gatekeeper, and for the 2nd, probably 1x Candletaker or 1x Subdue, depending on what you feel you need the most - do you find yourself without Reborn minions on early turns often? Do you really need 2x Subdue, do you hard mulligan for it in matchups you might need it the most (like Priest, Rogue)?
edit: one thing I forgot to mention, this deck is fairly slow and weak to aggro that runs rampant rn (in the form of Evolve Shaman, and even Quest Shaman should be a tough matchup), so it's questionable if it's the best choice for ladder atm. But, if you have decent results, no reason not to keep at it.

lost to this, only because I didn't get Bloodlust in time (unlucky I guess), the deck seemed interesting even though I felt I could've easily won with a bit more luck (2x Bloodlust and Vessina in last 10 cards, he had to leave himself open against 5+ small minions for 3 turns...). My opponent didn't want to respond to my friend request so thanks for the code, gonna try it out :)

Since I don't really know everything that's happening there and don't want to get myself into a topic I don't fully understand, I'll just say it's horrifying Blizz punished him so severely for breaking the no-politics rule (I can understand that he should be penalized in some way for not conforming to the rules he agreed to follow), but allowed Roger and others to compete after CHEATING.
2
Also, if a minion somehow lives, Faceless Manipulator or some other method of copying would create a Charge, not a Rush minion... SMOrc :)

you're missing the 2 damage from the Hero attacking.
