I think you need to play against A.I. first (there's something like "standard" and "expert", you need to finish both iirc?), or maybe even level all classes to lvl. 10
There shouldn't be a card that allows every deck to have any win condition it needs - i. e. Fireballs for decks that usually can't bypass taunts, Bloodlust for decks that don't count on flooding the board, etc.
It just ruins "identity" and makes it normal to run 2x 8/8s into 2x 1/1s because you're at 8 and opponent might have zeph xD
I've been trying Highlander Dragon Paladin (without new alex tho, not gonna craft it yet) and Highlander Dragon Mage seems way stronger - more ways to cheat mana and availability of AoE is pretty strong. (rank 5 btw, dropped from 3 xD)
Hey man, even though this isn't the most optimized list for Quest Paladin (and I haven't played it at all), I enjoyed the read, nice to see sometimes how tough it is for newer players to make something they enjoy playing that isn't getting destroyed left and right on the ladder!
Might I suggest you add 2x Bronze Gatekeeper or 2x Annoy-o-Module? I know you want to swap Zilliax in for Rotten Applebaum, so while you don't have it, I'd cut it for 1 Gatekeeper, and for the 2nd, probably 1x Candletaker or 1x Subdue, depending on what you feel you need the most - do you find yourself without Reborn minions on early turns often? Do you really need 2x Subdue, do you hard mulligan for it in matchups you might need it the most (like Priest, Rogue)?
edit: one thing I forgot to mention, this deck is fairly slow and weak to aggro that runs rampant rn (in the form of Evolve Shaman, and even Quest Shaman should be a tough matchup), so it's questionable if it's the best choice for ladder atm. But, if you have decent results, no reason not to keep at it.
You had problems removing Ysera in the past...Kalecgos is giving you a hard time? Here you go, all your problems are solved!
I kinda "hate" Priest ever since I had to fight against 8 mana Mind Control with my Control Paladin back in the day, this card is gonna be pretty good :/
imagine something like Cobalt Scalebane in Standard, I think even if it was the only viable dragon, this card would be played since it's so cheap...every viable Dragon over 1 or 2 is gonna make this more and more insane.
lost to this, only because I didn't get Bloodlust in time (unlucky I guess), the deck seemed interesting even though I felt I could've easily won with a bit more luck (2x Bloodlust and Vessina in last 10 cards, he had to leave himself open against 5+ small minions for 3 turns...). My opponent didn't want to respond to my friend request so thanks for the code, gonna try it out :)
Since I don't really know everything that's happening there and don't want to get myself into a topic I don't fully understand, I'll just say it's horrifying Blizz punished him so severely for breaking the no-politics rule (I can understand that he should be penalized in some way for not conforming to the rules he agreed to follow), but allowed Roger and others to compete after CHEATING.
A bit late legend this month, after trying out a lot of the meta/off meta decks for practice, I tried Mech Paladin in a tournament (failed miserably :D) but it did turn out as a pretty good meta-breaker on ladder.
75% winrate climb over 51 games from rank 5, 0 stars to Legend.
(it's a pretty standard list from before, but it seems to me people have forgotten it, and it's a pretty good environment for it, since there's not that much silence in the meta)
Zephrys will always give you lethal if it's possible. You're just missing some damage. On turn 6 when you played Zephrys your opponent had 22 hp. You had 6 minions. 4 with 1 attack, 1 with 2 attack and 1 with 3 attack 4+2+3=9. If Zephrys gave you Savage Roar it would give your 6 minions +2 attack 6*2=12. 9+12=21. So Savage Roar would give you 21 damage but your opponent had 22 hp so Zephrys couldn't give you lethal.
you're missing the 2 damage from the Hero attacking.

I feel like this is the unexpectedly super-overpowered card of this expansion...a lot of expensive cards you'd gladly play a turn or 2 sooner in Mage

Also, if a minion somehow lives, Faceless Manipulator or some other method of copying would create a Charge, not a Rush minion... SMOrc :)

I think Masters Qualifiers are over? If I'm not mistaken, these changes are for the next year's Masters events, there's a bit they didn't c/p here: "This post is only a summary of the changes, the official rules spell out the exact competition details. In addition to the above changes, our tournament platform partner Link Removed: http://bit.ly/BFYHSUpdates. We will be announcing the location and qualification timeline of the next Masters Tour in the coming days, so keep it tuned to playhearthstone.com/esports!"

If you can make it to rank 1, you can make it to Legend, it will just take more or less time, depending on the deck you play.
