To be fair to the OP, the main reason why people got a bit pissed about the BGH nerf was because it got nerfed around the same time Blizzard released the 4 mana 7/7 shaman card. However I do believe it did need to be nerfed because at one point any minion which was 7 attack or more was considered trash unless they did something immediately on the board because they would just get blown away by " I got the beast in my sights." When GVG cards were being reviewed before they were released, streamers actually said that Troggzor the Earthinator was good and Dr Boom "Would not see any play" just because Dr boom was a 7/7 and Troggzor was a 6/6 so it avoided getting BGH' ed. Although in my opinion I actually think that BGH should cost 4 mana, 5 in my opinion is overcosted because nobody wants to pay 5 mana for a 4/2.

Twitchy posted a message on Mike Donais: No Ladder Changes in the Next Set, Current Meta, Small-Time BuccaneerPosted in: NewsI've got a strong feeling that he told so much about smalltime buckaneer just to make us think ''well darn, they put a lot of time in developing this card, and the earlier versions were even stronger! I guess it's not that broken after all''.
No. It's a stupid card. Stop making broken 1-drops, they've been ruining the game since Naxxramas came out.

Twitchy posted a message on Max McCall Talks About Charge and Taunt - Concerns, Experimentation, and ExecutionPosted in: NewsA 1 mana minion that has dealed 10 damage to you by turn 3 = not fine
A very complex combo with charge which requires the perfect hand, settup and board and deals 20 damage to you in turn 10 = not fine
Flawless logic

"Buhuu... I blew my load too fast." Get over it. Do you honestly believe that 135 new cards won't affect the meta, and that cubelock will go unchallenged?
Besides there are plenty of decks that can beat cubelock at the moment.

WhatAChamp posted a message on Best win streak?Posted in: General DiscussionWe have our ups and our downs in hearthstone, sometimes winning like crazy and others times losing over and over again. I was wondering how high of win streaks some of the hearthpwn users have had and which decks they used to accomplish that. I find that often my best streaks come when I try out a new, relatively unknown deck and people don't know how to counter it yet. Yesterday, I had the best streak I've ever had, winning 22 games in a row from rank 9 to rank 3 with my homebrew secret hunter deck. It was one of those days where I said, "I'll stop when I lose" and I just kept going. My streak came to a halt after that but I managed to make my way into legend for the first time today. Here's the decklist I used:
[Legend] Wild Heavy Secrets Hunter Secrets Hunter Deck by WhatAChamp - Aug 10, 2018Minion (8) - 1x Professor Putricide
- 1x Subject 9
- 2x Secretkeeper
- 2x Cloaked Huntress
- 2x Mad Scientist
Ability (19) - 1x Rat Trap
- 1x Snake Trap
- 2x Cat Trick
- 2x Lesser Emerald Spellstone
- 2x Tracking
- 1x Venomstrike Trap
- 2x Wandering Monster
- 1x Snipe
- 1x Bear Trap
- 1x Dart Trap
- 1x Explosive Trap
- 1x Freezing Trap
- 2x Quick Shot
- 1x Secret Plan
Weapon (2) Playable Hero (1) Loading Collection So what's your best streak? Also, highest losing streak if you want as well!

maroon5five posted a message on Does the Boomsday Project look stronger than it actually is?Posted in: Card DiscussionIt only take a few cards to really make a big difference. No set is going to replace half of each deck, that would make the game a lot more expensive. A set doesn't need to have a long list of broken cards to be strong.

Skelos_bg posted a message on Barnes needs and can be nerfed in a healthy wayPosted in: Card DiscussionJust make the summon from the opponents deck. A lot more rng and fun. This way the card becomes good vs deathrattle decks and stops being annoying when the opponent misses his counter.
But it's not just Barnes, there are tons of cards that need tunning. If they decide to fix wild with card updating, we will receive a lot of mana for sure.

I'd vote Valeera over Lich king in this deck. The Lich King spells aren't as good as you may think; certain ones are gamebreaking but some serve no purpose in this deck and can even hurt you (i.e. Frostmourne if you've been buffing a Spectral Cutlass, Army of the Dead negating Blink Fox or Vilespine Slayers' battlecry and going deeper into fatigue vs control, etc.). Meanwhile DK Valeera can give tons of extra value, not just on your Blink Foxes or card generation cards but also on the cards they generate (I like playing 2 Elise the Trailblazers on the same turn). I don't run Lich King in my Tess Rogue deck and it's been doing just fine.
HOWEVER, the Lich King is a better card in a wider variety of decks, so its still a good craft. In the specific deck you mentioned playing though, I'd go for DK Valeera first.

Because they are the most consistent with their early game draws and have few if any bad topdecks.

Seeing the same cards over and over again is great. If you have half a brain you can use the knowledge of every paladin having 1.14 spikeridge steeds to your advantage. I got 4 12 win runs in a week.

I got 12 wins in Brawliseum with Taunt Druid, but I didn't run the Oakheart package. It's really good vs control lock and aggro mage, and I didn't face too many Paladins or any quest rogues.

Its skill when I win, luck when I lose.

Lol. Arena card at best.

No regrets, the deal was amazing.

I voted dust it, i think this card is being overrated. Inner fire on a minion itself is ok but not great; what makes it oppressive is the burst damage with divine spirit. I think this card will be too slow for the value of it to pile up. For example, if you play a 12/12 ysera vs a 4/12 ysera, if your opponent doesn't have an answer, you already win in either case. I think weakening your deck with Oasis snapjaws and mogushan wardens is not worth the fringe effect of having a 4 mana 7/7 that late in the game (i.e. any time after turn 4).

I think the fact that you said 10% of people reach legend with quest rogue is actually quite remarkable; that's quite a lot lower than I would expect for a deck that is, as you claim, OP and brain-dead to play. If it were so OP more people would be using it, like when over 30% of people were playing midrange shaman last year or pirate warrior this year. 10% is actually about average for a class, if not a bit lower than would be expected if each class were represented equally (which would give an 11.11%, repeating of course, chance of playing any given class). That tells me that quest rogue, while a strong deck which beats decks not teched specifically against it, is not OP.

Cool deck! I'm a big fan of the silver hand recruit synergy decks. Here's one I made that can make it to rank 5 in wild:
Your choice to include Mana Wraith is cool, I like that.
