Rewards for this Expansion were actually pretty generous, we got two free legendarys, Silas and a Random one, 6 free Scholomance Packs for playing Duels (only if you Pre Order Mega Bundle) 2 Darkmoon Faire Packs from watching Streamers for 4 Hours, 3 Darkmoon Faire Packs from completing the first levels of the new Reward System, and there will be another free Legendary on Level 25 and a decent looking Hero Skin for your favorite class on Level 50.
Newbies or casuals cant really complaint, its the Grinders who have reason to complaint as Activi$ion-Blizzard basically capped things down quite a bit, like hundreds of threads here have explained already in detail.
Still for Casuals or even Semi heavy active players this new System is the BETTER deal, as they get rewarded free Legendarys and free Packs, and aren't really bothered if they cant grind up to 8k- 10k Gold anymore between Expansions.
It’s far worse for casual players. It rewards hardcore players but craps on anyone who wants twenty min to do quests and get out.
So, I've been around Hearthstone since the beginning, and one thing that's never changed is that any time something costs money, the floodgates open, and a deluge of complaints descend upon every hearthstone forum in existence. I have never understood the juxtapositioning of "I don't want to spend money" with "I want to be competitive." These two philosophies simply do not go together.
This is also true in other forms of competition. If you play tennis, for example, hard work and practice will get you most of the way there, but players who spend on the best rackets, the best shoes, and the best coaching will have a significant advantage over those who do not. My personal belief is that what SOME of these perennial complainers really mean is "I don't want to spend money, but I DESERVE to be competitive." This way of thinking belongs in the trash can with other phrases of the entitled such as "I don't want to study, but deserve an A+" and "I don't want to work, but deserve to be wealthy."
You are NOT entitled to free gaming, and if that's what you desire, there are plenty of games where you can do just that (including some of the game modes of Hearthstone, by the way) not to mention that there are legitimate players who grind daily and DO NOT spend money, but instead sacrifice their time, in order to get what they need to stay competitive.
So, in conclusion, if you don't want to put in the time OR the money, then what are you even complaining about?
TL/DR: You can't be competitive without sacrifice, so if you aren't sacrificing anything, stop complaining about it being unfair.
Dude your entitled as all out? Quoting tennis? How’s your yacht.
F2P gaming takes sacrifice. It takes time and effort to build up collections over time without putting in money. Can blizzard make us pay sure they can. But the point is they were a very community oriented company before activision.
In the end this reward system is not that bad if your willing to put the same time in. We are just hurt because you can no longer log in for twenty min do your daily and get out. The daily’s and weeklys take a lot more time and effort. So for the casual gamer. Which I would say is 99% of hearthstones player base is going away.
I have been playing since alpha. Alpha. I’ve been through terrible changes. But casual play for hearthstones bee the way I’ve chosen to play for the last year. And through casual gameplay I’ve been able to grab 6-7k gold an expansion on twenty minutes a day.
The issue isn’t driving f2p away it’s driving casuals away. Not everyone wants to go through a battle pass. This will kill hearthstone. M

It’s been about a month into expansion. Where is everyone on the track? Just curious. Is it possible to be level fifty?

Make his hero power two and it fixes the entire problem.
