I do appreciate the whole "the attacking lifesteal minion is eating your minions soul concept." Also, if there is a "salty" thread that I missed I apologize, I wasn't aware.
I will willingly admit I created this account and started this thread over being extremely salty. But I started playing this game because it seemed to be very strategic and logic based and this is the first instance I've encountered that I just can't justify. Take that for what you will.
I don't think applying basic math qualifies as being a pseduo-intellectual. Every example listed previously listed doesn't apply. Overkill is simply overkill. You had more damage than necessary. But if you're stealing health, that require health to be stolen. Where is that stolen health coming from? Really hope I don't have to break this down any more.
1) definitely salty haha, this has happened to me a ton when I playing against a mage who plays Frost Linch Jania; 2) the logic still just seems shit. There's only 1 health to steal from a one health minion. I guess at a minimum don't call it Lifesteal.
I'm fairly new, but does anyone else feel the way lifesteal plays out is bullshit? Just from a basic logic standpoint? If a character with lifesteal has +5 attack and kill a minion with +1 health, how do they possibly get a +5 health bonus? Where does that +4 even come from? As far as I can tell no other ability has such a fundamentally skewed flaw.
