I just pulled off the Mecha'thun combo in ranked play (rank 7) and against an aggro pally at that! I used the Warlock Cataclysm combo and I got it on the second try.
Anyone else had success with it? Which combo/deck/class did you use?

My boyfriend and I have been opening packs together since I started playing Hearthstone just after Old Gods release, sitting together in the living room. Last expansion he even bought me extra packs when I was super unlucky :) Unfortunately, I'm traveling for a work thing just as the expansion releases, so we have to do it long distance. Better than nothing, I guess, but not the same.

Mecha'thun OTK Paladin
"When He broke Kangor's seventh seal, I heard the first Missile Launcher saying, “Come.” And another Missile Launcher went out; and to him who stood next to it, Mecha'thun was his name, it was granted to take peace from the earth, and that Mecha'thun was huuuuge; and a great missile was given to him. BOOOOOOOOOOOOM"
- Kangor's Revelation transcript 6:3-17 B00M
Guide
To win the game we have to summon the 3 mech-horseman of the apocalypse
via
+
Missile Launcher will trigger at the end of our turn and kill the whole board. Played secrets or equipped weapons don't interfer with Mecha'thun and therfor we only need to empty our hand/deck to win the game. Those 3-mech minions need to be played any time during the game and have to die. Polymorph or Hex will destroy our OTK but let me explain how it can work vs other classes.
Crystology is a great new card for paladin. It will help us draw our early game defensive tools and cards like Secretkeeper can easily snowball if we play our secrets from our hand.
Secrets are great in a Mecha'thun deck because they can easily be pulled out via Bellringer Sentry or drawn with Subject 9. Their low mana cost also helps getting more value out of Prismatic Lens which can lead to 1 mana-minions-power-plays and Secret Paladin is annoying/sticky ennough to survive the first few turns to get our draw-engines rolling.
Prismatic Lens is one of those card-draw-engines paladin needed. After Crystology pulled out most of our 1-attack minions it is most likely that Prismatic Lens will draw Mecha'thun or Missile Launcher. If we draw Bellringer Sentry or Subject 9 or Skulking Geist we can keep thinning our deck to increase the chance to draw our last combo-pieces and most likely the drawn minions will cost 1 mana (secrets) after Prismatic Lens was played.
Skulking Geist can be used to destroy the last secrets in our deck + helps getting rid of our high cost secrets in our hand because they are still "1mana-spells" for his battlecry which makes it much easier for us to empty our hand without playing a 10 mana secret.
The only thing we have to do is playing Mecha'thun and our 2 Missile Launchers during the game and get them killed. Empty your hand and only keep Kangor's Endless Army + 1x Equality for the final otk combo.
Hope it will see some play and there is still room to improve my decklist depending on the meta. Stonehill Defender instead of Tar Creeper , Hemet, Jungle Hunter, more secrets, Truesilver Champion....

Luna's Pocket Galaxy - One of fave. Might craft it golden.
Flark's Boom-Zooka - Who doesn't like this one? The animation is just sick. WP Blizzard.
The Boomship - Golden Animation is sick. It's like Iron Man suits flying.
i wanted golden galaxy too.

Quote from BadCompanyEH >>She has a screen shot on page 3
Looked them up and Bee has ZERO Legend finishes on record this season (last 4 months). What a trash-tier player. Lectures people about not being able to consistently hit Legend but can't even hit Legend consistently themselves.

Quote from Vikariushx >>Let's try to predict 3 most underrated, and 3 most overrated cards of the expansion. The expansion will be released very soon so we will check then who was right and who was wrong.
Most overrated:
Dr. Boom, Mad Genius - 7 mana gain 7 armor and do nothing. Every other hero card has some impactful effect when played. Also in my opinion random hero power is a huge downside, because you can't plan your plays accordingly to it, and you can often get Hero Power that you don't need in the specific situation. Also, we don't have good mechs for Control Warrior to make Dr. Boom, Mad Genius a strong hero.
Luna's Pocket Galaxy - another 7 mana do nothing card. Then you draw 1 minion that cost 1 (it's probably something like 3 cost minion because you can only play a few big minions in class like Mage).
Reckless Experimenter - don't get me wrong. The card isn't bad for sure. Has good stats and if there are some good Deathrattle Priest decks, it will be playable and usefull (for example to cycle your Loot Hoarders fast or play 3 mana 5/5 from egg). But, the card isn't as broken as people say, and it's not a card that you can build your whole deck around because 5 mana cost doesn't let you to create any broken Cube combos.
Most underrated:
Subject 9 - I think this card will definitely make secret hunter great. It's 5 mana 4/4 draw 5 (!). Even If it draws 2-3 it's very good. You can upgrade your spellstone much more consistently.
Toxicologist - I think this card will be broken in Aluneth mage. Toxicologist opens up new possibilities for creating new versions of Aluneth Mage. It can also be great in Control Warlock. You can use Skull of the Man'ari in early game and then attack with it 3 times, before you play your final seal.
Wargear - this will quickly become, a favourite toy of every mdrange and aggro deck that has mechs.
Dr. Boom gives all of your mechs rush. Apparently that is do nothing now? Also, since when do you plan your turn around armor up?
Luna's Pocket Galaxy is made for a combo deck of sorts. I don't think it's good and most people aren't overrating it.
Reckless Experimenter. I'm sorry but what? You can't create any broken Cube combos because of why? Because if you play this on curve, you can't play cube? You do know turn 10 is a thing right and you can run two of these. Anything that can lower the mana cost of anything is potentially broken. Case and point Summoning Portal which saw play in this very expansion despite being much worse than Experimenter.
Subject 9 is fine, but hunter wants to play their spell stones on curve and in minionless decks. There are better things for the class to do than play a 5 mana 4/4.
Toxicologist is good because you can slowly break weapons? Wait but I though slow effects were bad, see Luna's Pocket Galaxy and in your opinion Dr. Boom. What about games where you don't draw aluneth and you play a 2/2 do nothing on the board? As for warlock, you are just making a slow effect even slower. You probably should just keep the weapon in hand if your game plan is to destroy their deck. Weapon is only good for cheating out demons in aggressive match ups and your control opponent will often remove it anyway. How do you justify this garbage taking up something as valuable as a card slot, but not see any potential in obviously powerful cards?
Thanks for letting us know about Wargear captain obvious. It isn't under rated at all and almost everyone knows exactly where it's going. Face. The reason it might seem under rated is because it is a super boring card, there isn't anything going on for it other than a solid body.
In my opinion, you need to play control more. Anyone who actually plays a class like warrior right now knows a card like Dr. Boom is good. Why? Because in control matches it's stronger than most dk hero powers, and in aggro matches it makes you faster than your opponent. Warrior has some of the best anti aggro tools in the game and people are placing way too much emphasis on an immediate effect, as if gaining more armor isn't somehow good enough.

From Beyond. It was one of the discarded cards in Wildfest for Warlock, now it's a legendary spell!
I don't know why I can't edit my last comment but why are you all downvoting me? I am right, just I can't link the card because it was never printed. I can give you proofs

This card legit had me giggling while reading comments, shit is insane and I can’t wait to play demon project turn 5 x)

Not true, I just beat 3 Priest with Vargoth and Mind Blast. I played Hunter ;)

Spell Hunter, I dunno why but I think people are underestimating this one.

It's worth it, up to the second wing because of Barnes. But of you like the adventure, buy it full :)

Let's hope they fixed the Lackey bug.

Tier 4 deck in my opinion. You should include Wild pyromancer, and your lacking defensive early game stuff
1
Not OP for me. It costs 8 mana, and to get the full effect, you must be at 9-10 mana or at least make it survive on the board.
It's pretty slow and I don't see any game-winning effect here.
Just another overhyped card
2
Cool Flavor. Might craft it golden.
2
Interesting. Reminds me of Dirty Rat but this one targets a spell.
2
Wow, this one along with Vereesa Windrunner are my new favorites!
This card's effect is just insane. It can be broken in the right deck

It's gonna be a staple for sure in Priest decks.
We did see Drakonid Operative saw play. Not a great statline compared to Drakonid but this one is cheaper.
