Darkwonyx is one of the EU's top Hearthstone players, finishing atop the rankings in test season 1. He's no stranger to the competitive gaming scene, as he's been competing since 2010, starting with Heroes of Newerth. Notable achievements include a 5th place finish in the Heroes of Newerth finals at Dreamhack 2010 as part of team Druidz, followed up with a 6th place finish at Dreamhack 2012 (with a 1st place finish in the BYOC qualifiers). Darkwonyx also has a 1st place DoTA 2 finish at BYOC 2013 as part of team House of Gamers on his long list of accomplishments.

Play Style: "My play style is pretty known as only control, which is also one of my weak sides since it's easy to predict my classes. I like to compensate it by playing a lot of unorthodox cards, so I still have the element of surprise."

Favorite Class: "My favorite class varies depending on my mood, and what's being good. But Warrior is what I'm most known for, and enjoy playing it a lot."

Favorite Card: "The favorite card is Nat Pagle. I was a fan of him even when he was bugged long time ago, since I'm a huge fan of card drawing mechanics, and he is the best card for that right now (give back old Novice Engineer)."

Most Memorable Moment: "My most memorial moment in Hearthstone must have been placing #1 in Legend during the first season. Since then, I haven't put as much of a focus on ladder anymore since it resets way too often and the balance system is horrible, being able to go up/down 100 ranks in 3 games."
