March of the Lich King: Card List, Release Date, & Expansion Details
Hearthstone's third expansion in the Year of the Hydra is March of the Lich King! The release date for the expansion is Tuesday, December 6th most likely at 10am PST/ 1pm EST/ 19:00 CEST/ 18:00 BST.
The Lich King returns to Hearthstone, leading his Undead army and the new Death Knight class in an all-out assault on the elven city of Silvermoon! The Blood Elves won’t go down easily; they are as thirsty for combat as they are for the magic of the Sunwell that they draw power from. As the Corpses pile up, the Death Knights’ army swells, and so begins the March of the Lich King.

Mini-Set Info
As the Battle for Silvermoon rages on, a massive shadow blots out the sun. To their horror, the Blood Elves see a floating necropolis, Naxxramas, approaching their fair city. This evil entity is unnatural, but something about it feels familiar. They brace themselves and call for help. This is the March of the Lich King Mini-Set, Return to Naxxramas!
Return to Naxxramas unlocks Death Knight’s full potential with the class’s first Location and Colossal cards! But the Lich King isn’t the only one getting support. The Mini-Set also includes all-new Dual-Type minion creations, advanced synergies, and a terrifying new way to win the game!
- Will consist of 4 Legendaries (x1), 1 Epic (x2), 17 Rares (x2), and 16 Commons (x2) -- for a total of 38 new cards.
- Will contain Death Knight’s first Location and Colossal card, Dual-Type minion creations, advanced synergies, and a terrifying new way to win the game!
- Will be released on Tuesday, February 14.
- Normal version of all the mini-set cards can be bought for 2000 Gold or 1500 Runestones and the all-Golden version can be purchased for $69.99 or, for the first time ever, 10,000 Gold.
- The Golden Mini-Set option also includes a bonus Diamond Legendary!

To learn about them in more detail, including their drop rates and future looks, read this complete guide on them we did!

'Hearthstone': "Still trying to figure out how to have fun with Hunter."
I have been saying the same thing for years! Make dual tribe cards, introduce undead alongside the Deathknight class. I feel heard and im really excited about this expansion.
Why is there so much text on these cards 🙈
hearthstone players being forced to read
bruh
💀💀💀
That’s because you’re lazy. It happens.
I'lll definitely try this in Wild:
literally the only thing i want it for XDDDD
You got to top it off with Emeriss
it will double the value of cthun when theron is played , so if at that point its 6 then its just 12... , or if you draw cthun before theron nothing happens... , C'Thun, the Shattered is still a more consistent ,reliable card
My god how Blood Matriarch Liadrin is not a paladin card (and bad)
Not a battlecry
Have no divine shield with aura effect
She not work with quest for combo at turn 6/7
3/2 to be sure she die before next turn
Why Blizzard don't give her divine shield ? ....
what you talking about, this card is great in a token Silver Hand Recruit deck
First of all, we don't even know 8 out of 10 Paladin cards yet. We have no clue what synergies they might have with that card.
Second, there are enough ways for paladins to buff a card, both in hand and on the field, for this to become utterly bonkers. No one says you have to play this on curve.
Play this late game, for example, and you have Liadrin + Garden's grace for 2 mana and can dump whatever high stat card that suddenly has divine shield and rush.
Blood Matriarch Liadrin is pure shit...lower power level than Steward of Darkshire (and this is rare card, from Whispers of the Old Gods) Animated Broomstick -1 mana and common (total shit)
Paladin hasn't received anything for years, and what little he received (when playable) was all heavily nerfed from week one, all decks destroyed and no nerfs removed, not even in wild, a completely abandoned class ... ( unfortunately it is a toxic community, they will never allow the Paladin to play at high levels, because they will all be there complaining that their favorite class sucks and the Paladin wins (with this feedback received over the years Blizzard has now directly stopped support Paladin with playable decks at high rank) the only class stops at goblins vs gnomes at the power level .... (business, they reward the most popular classes, the others are only there to babysit the opponent ... (anyone has a minimum of intellectual honesty cannot but admit that the Paladin wasn't been completely mistreated in this game like no other class by the developers) this lack of balance (and even rotation of the power level between classes) makes this game suitable only for children... (so don't fool yourself...) perhaps the only other class mistreated at the level of the paladin (over the years) is Warrior...
Lor'themar Theron again a card which has too much impact in the game.
This type of cards are exactly why I am not playing constructive anymore.
Last expansion Sire Denathrius was that 1 card that made me puke.
Can't we just have an expansion anymore that is just powerful but not that much to make it overpowered?
If you think 7 mana do nothing is strong you don't understand the game and probably quit standard out of frustration.
yeah like luna's pocket galaxy is not strong card
Reducing your deck to 1 mana, or doubling stats are two very different things. One just makes beefy minions, while the other one can do way more than close games in 1-2 turns.
yeah they tried doing that with rastakans rumble and the community cried about how the power level was low, got to have power creep or no fun.
lmao point here being "if you think 7 mana do nothing is strong", not "what that 7 mana does"
