Murder at Castle Nathria: Card List, Release Date, & Expansion Details
Hearthstone's second expansion in the Year of the Hydra is Murder at Castle Nathria! The release date for the expansion is Tuesday, August 2nd most likely at 10am PST/ 1pm EST/ 19:00 CEST/ 18:00 BST.
The Shadowlands is normally where souls go after they die, so when someone dies in the Shadowlands, that’s a special kind of mystery. Sire Denathrius invited 10 of his counterparts and enemies to Castle Nathria for a dinner party so that he could address the malicious rumors that he is hoarding anima, the life-energy that is drained from tortured souls and used to power the Shadowlands. But just after the festivities started, Sire Denathrius was found dead! It seems a gaggle of enemies does not a good dinner party make. Now the illustrious Murloc Holmes, and his trusty sidekick Watfin, have been called to solve the case. Scour new Location cards, follow the trail of Infused minions, question the 10 Legendary suspects, and help determine who committed Murder at Castle Nathria!
Expansion Info
- Ten Suspects - Sire Denathrius had a lot of enemies. And it just so happens that 10 of them were under his roof at the time of his demise! The Cinematics
Oh there are ways to fix druid but they won't do what needs to be doine.
perhaps you know how to balance the game better than the devs, maybe I could improve the game too. Sadly we'll never know. Maybe our ideas would mess up the meta hard. Druid is definitely a very strong class, that has been polarizing the meta hard at times. Rogue has been better though and Druid can have some freebies (together with paladin) because they need to build board. The last VS report suggests hunter has the best deck
WOW! You learn something about yourself every day! Just like how today I learned that I am deeply traumatised by having run this raid to completion on mythic!
NOT THIS AGAIN. SIRE DENATHRIUS + EXPENDABLE PERFORMERS FOR THE INFUSE DEMON HUNTER OTK ?
It's a strong synergy, but it's not an otk. Hopefully it can make DH playable in wild.
It will also make other already mor powerful DH in wild especially token demon hunter so not as much as you are hoping for.
I've never hoped for climbing wild with DH in any noteworthy quantity. If you find a cool list I'll gladly give it a try, but I rarely play wild these days. I suppose DH still stinks right?
btw: you jumped a few words, but I suppose you mean that other classes will benefit more from the new cards than DH will anyway (in wild)

Let's make some predictions for fun!
I think that evolve shaman will piss off a lot of people. It won't be broken, but strong enough to cause at least a few salt threads. The devs thought that they finally made a fun, balanced and less swingy version of the archetype, but the community will quickly find that hidden combination which will add an awkward casino-like feel to the meta, ultimately leading to a borderline overkill nerf to the class.
Of course I hope that evolve shaman will finally see a good design, like so many other archetypes/cards that started off badly. But I don't really see evolve shaman ever leaving it's super swingy, no-game nature without being tier F
Among the 10 suspects:
- the green-faced guy: Warrior
- the Naga lady: Shaman
- Kel'Thuzad: Mage?
- Rafaam: Warlock?
- the white owl with a lamp: Hunter?
- the faceless guy with Egyptian mask: Priest?
- the blue human guy: Paladin?
- the magician guy with a stick: Rogue or Druid?
- the pinky long-haired beast: Demon Hunter?
- the green-faced girl with red wine glass: Druid or Rogue?
Blue guy is priest, in the bubble you see the cathedral location card.
The stealth guy is Rogue ( maze in the background)
I just pray we get more control-warlock support. The Curselock is neat but it's a deck that builds itself and there isn't much room for tinkering.
Zovaal should be a neutral legendary minion that have "start of game" where he will drop the sigils from his other brothers and sisters into both players decks. How many sigils were there? 4? So 2 in your deck and 2 in your opponents deck. When they are drawn Zovaal will get more powerful and when he has all the sigils he will become the fully armored Zovaal and be a really powerful minion when played.
It's pretty funny that Sire Denathrius was the final boss of the first raid in Shadowlands, but in Hearthstone he's killed off before the expansion comes out as part of a murder mystery.
But as in any murder mystery.. he's not really dead, he was behind it all
I think he will have his own Legendary card, I don't think he's dead, or he will get resurrected or something...
Of course he might get his own card in the actual expansion, but my guess would be, that the "mistery" will be revealed alongside the mini-set and then he will get a card
Kel'Thuzad is gonna be disgusting,
I can feel it in my...bones
