The post was not about if Elden Ring is better than HS. The post was about how overpriced is HS. Buy what you want. You seems blind to me. Therefore I am also foresting your no, HS is not overpriced. Ok then ask yourself what is the cost in developing a new expansion in HS and the cost in developing a triple-A game like Elden Ring or what you want.
You come from the wrong point. The question is always: is it worth it to you. Even when people would buy me Elden Ring I would not play it. If you play Elden Ring there is a high chance that you dont really "like" HS more than any other mobile game on your phone. For me HS is one of the games I play all year around for long times. I dont jump from game to game like a lot of people that like solo player games do. You have the choice "Do I want more cards or do I want a new game?". My question is "Do I want the new cards or do nothing?". Its a matter of perspective. Is it expensive to buy the biggest pack? Yes. But its not fair to do so. I hope I could make it more clear to you.
This post was not for you. This post was to underlying that HS is too expensive. For your questions pre-purchase we will make another post.
MarkMcKz is going to really love Dredge since all of his combo pieces are always the bottom three. I hope he gets a reveal this time.
Since the new Naga tribe is going to be introduced, the old cards that depict naga will get it as well, it's not a problem, since there are only a handful of these, but there is one problem: Naga Corsair, if they'll create two tribe cards, will Cookie the Cook also get that treatment?
Will it be only a pirate or will they create two tribe card mechanic just for that one example. Such problem would've arisen one day or another as time went on, so I was genuinely curious how they'd solve it, I guess I'm going to find out this expac
This is like Patches the Pirate too. I guess they'll keep the Pirate tag due to it being more relevant.
No. They both already have tribes. Multiple tribe cards are to rare to make them a thing.
“Lets you look at the bottom three cards of your deck and pick one, much like Discover does.”
Can you please update the description of Dredge you have written here? You are making it sound better than it is. It doesn’t put the card in your hand like Discover, it just put it at the top of your deck.
I don’t know why I am leaning towards pessimistic on this expansion but at least I don’t feel Dredge would be any significant relevance. Obviously Dredge by itself is not that useful, you can think of it as Sightless Watcher and Sightless wasn’t really widely used in DH. Dredge power would be determined by the cards you intentionally put at the bottom of your deck but if you think about it, both Dredge cards and the cards that put card(s) at the bottom are slow Discovers, but wait, they are even worse since they kinda lose you a card draw.
I am going to make a guess and say there will be only one class minion that both Dredge and draws a card as its battlecry.
still waiting for something.. ANYTHING that punishes spell heavy and/or no-minion decks
2 mana watchpost, 4 mana watchpost, 5 mana ogre, 1 mana trogg, new 4 mana guy (i know it's mediocre), 7 mana murloc (i know it's slow), 2 mana cult neophyte, 4 mana shuffle both hands of demon hunter, paladin's and hunter secret counterspells. I mean we have some but I agree with you, also I really demand dirty rat in core set! That would encourage people to run more minions in kazakusan decks. Oh we also have 8 mana 8/8 demon for demonhunter which makes spells cost 2 more. Summon it from hand, copy with faceless and gg.
this would be played at 10 mana if it was out today
Hyped because of the colossal minions. Seem pretty impactful and they should be. Also that there are cards that put stuff at the bottom of the deck are very cool with the new "drege" keyword. So you have to play them together to work. Seem nice! Really hyped and with that we also get a new core set!
Is it just me or is Colaque the most broken card they've ever printed?? It's a 0 8 taunt that gives you 8 armor so you play this vs aggro and laugh at them, but then if they don't kill the shell, you do 6 damage for free, and if they do kill the shell, it still has 5 hp. How do you play vs this without giving your opponent a 3 for 1? It's guaranteed mega value with 0 downside.
They have to be good to be played. The quests are still in the game you know. Be aware that they need the extra place for the parts and that like you said its very good vs aggro. I am sure for 6 mana its strong but to broken? I dont think so. Its a good solid card. Also think about what druid will lose with the rotation.
I think it is you. Colaque is nothing crazy. In wild it will not be played. In standard, I don't know. It is for sure good, but nothing crazy. It is very far to be the most broken card ever printed.
Only because it is 7 mana, it is for definition, so and so. Strong decks can close the game in turn 5/6, so 7 mana cards are shitty.
hope no 1 mana silence anywhere :-)
Druid can get this 7 mana minion out on turn 3.
A turn 3 6/5 immune + 0/8 taunt with deathrattle can snowball very quickly.
Love everything about this expac so far. Theme, keywords, mechanics, etc. Can’t wait to see how they mess this up lol
For sure with some broken cheap mana Aggro legendary card. 😂
