Boss Overview
Maloriak is the second boss in the Hidden Laboratory wing of the Blackrock Mountain adventure.
Heroic Difficulty Strategy
If you're playing on normal difficulty, the same strategy can be applied, it's just an easier fight!
- Maloriak has 30 Health and 15 Armor on Heroic.
- His Hero Power The Alchemist swaps attack and health of minions, and gives his own minions +2/+2 when they are summoned.
- There's a high chance you'll have to deal with Release the Aberrations! on his first turn due to The Coin.
- This deals 9 damage to you because of his Hero Power.

Reward
Upon defeating Maloriak for the first time, you will receive two copies of Blackwing Corruptor.
Once you have earned the regular version of Blackwing Corruptor, you can craft the golden version for 400 Arcane Dust.

Posted Aug 30, 2016 (Karazhan)Below is my minion-only deck to neutralise Maloriak's buffs on Heroic. If you have Kezan Mystics (I don't) it would be better to use a deck with spells though.

To those who do not have some hard-to-get (Old Murk-Eye) and obsolete cards (Kezan Mystic and Mistress of Pain from Goblins vs Gnomes expansion), you can substitute them with any other "your other minions have +X / +Y" cards like Raid Leader, Stormwind Champion.

Not only does he overwhelm you early but if he opens with his 3 3/3 abberations you pretty much need to concede. I won solely because he didn't draw it and thank goodness for that!
