Expansion Info

Details on the Loas
- Druid - Wardruid Loti, Champion of Gonk's Raptors
- Loti keeps her distance from the other Rumble competitors, preferring the company of her dinosaur loa Gonk and other scaled companions. Druids will discover that she’s a master of shapeshifting and claw-to-hand combat.
- Hunter - Zul'jin, Champion of Halazzi's Lynxs
- Warlord Zul’jin is reckless, bitter, and has a chip on his shoulder that’s even bigger than his blade. He’s is more than willing to unleash the primal power of Halazzi the Lynx loa upon his competitors, but he’s got a special knack for the mystical side of the hunt.
- Mage - Malacrass, Champion of Jan'alai's Dragonhawks
- The fury of Jan’alai the Dragonhawk loa fuels Malacrass’s fire on the Rumble field. Despite a flair for the dramatic, Malacrass is a clever opponent. He’ll give Mages who are willing to plan ahead access to useful resources.
- Paladin - High Priest Thekal, Champion of Shirvallah's Tigers
- This master fighter is a fan favorite! Wielding the Light as a weapon, he can use his healing energy in ways Paladins haven't seen before. Confident to a fault, Thekal moves almost as quickly as he talks, dancing around his opponents for the crowd.
- Priest - Princess Talanji, Champion of Bwonsamdi's Zombies
- As princess of the Zandalari Empire, Rastakhan’s own daughter calls the loa of the dead, Bwonsamdi, her companion. Talanji will aid Priests in turning their foes’ own might against them if forced to fight.
- Shaman - Zentimo, Champion of Krag'wa's Frogs
- The crowd finds this witch doctor mysterious, quiet, and more than a little unsettling. He’s content to let his giant frog loa, Krag’wa, do the fighting while he helps Shamans master channeling elemental magic.
- Rogue - Captain Hooktusk, Champion of Gral's Sharks
- This charming and flashy pirate has come ashore to claim her share of glory in the Rumble, and she’ll lie, cheat, and steal to get it! Rogues who choose Captain Hooktusk as their champion will find that she rarely goes anywhere without her loyal crew.
- Warlock - High Priestess Jeklik, Champion of Hir'eek's Bats
- The shrieking, shadow-skulking aspirant of the bat loa Hir’eek revels in the boos she gets from the crowd. Warlocks willing to make the right sacrifices will find Jeklik a useful champion who seems to be everywhere at once.
- Warrior - War Master Voone, Champion of Akali's Rhinos.
- Voone finds kindship in the rhino loa Akali. He’s a simple troll—he loves loud drums, a roaring crowd, and a raucous after-party—but his former employment by the Black Dragonflight will give Warriors special insight into the ways of dragons.

New Card Backs
There are two expansion-themed card backs coming. One for a pre-order and the other for full completion of Rumble Run.
"So far, 135 cards have been revealed out of 135."
No 5/1 ragers this time
Cause they went with the chicken
I dont know if i like or dislike this expansion but what i can say is.
I like the theme and power level of the set but.
1)I was expecting some big flashy dragon with an cool effect
2) i wanted an big expensive neutral pirate.
3)maybe a mech or 2 that can help the mechs in BD so they become better.
4) an good on curve 2 drop in hunter and warlock so they can be motivated to not run Keleseth.
5)something big and expensive with bad stats to counter kingsbane/twig of the world tree with stats so bad it drops your winrate but you will add it in your deck if you hate those card's.
6) an neutral counter to shudderwock
7) an shaman murlock card to help their quest
8) an bad card that's good in quest druid.
9) an neutral transform effect to represent an curse or something.
They didnt have to do all of them 1-3 of the things would have been fine
This post is just a wish list for your desires, and not what is actually good for the game, and does not contain many things that makes sense to implement.
- shudderwock, kingsbane and twig are not played much right now (atleast in the high ranks, low ranks im not so sure about because i dont play there)
- Mechs doesnt fit the expansion theme.
- The murloc quest is a card from the oldest standard set (except basic and classic), so it doesnt make sense to push the power level of that.
I think he's saying he wants a counter to kingsbane in general because raiding party may make kingsbane good enough in standard and in wild kingsbane is already really strong (and there is not really a solid counter for it as weapon removal just puts off the inevitable)
They have been indirectly pushing almost all the unplayed quest in the set
warlock:good discard
Paladin:an repeatable threat
Hunter:an minion that completes the quest on its own
Druid new 5 attack minions but nothing that can give 2 ticks
Mage: the thing that gives banana's (2 spells)
They even have an murloc in the set so there no reason to have not fitted in an 2nd one that helps complete it fast. The 4 mana one is to slow for the deck.
on Mech's they might not fit the expansion but that have never stopped them in the past wichwood have a mech, 2 with you include nightmare amalgam.Kobolds and catacombs have 1 mech and frozen throne has 1 mech. those 3 sets also feel like mechs doesnt 100% fit but they did it flavorfully and they dont look like they shouldnt be there. They could have easily made an mech like target dummy in the set something that isnt fully an mech but still fit.
As for counter's for problem card like a silence weapon removal there is no harm making an bad counter card that is so bad it damage your winrate for just adding it to your deck. they are purely there for people that hate losing to the card and feel helpless against it an 7 mana 2/2 or something should be fine. In magic they try to do stuff like this just in case something becomes oppressive, their attempts dont always work but they try. Besides kingbane is an problem in wild it generates very polarized match ups like quest rogue did.
Something that counter shudder will ideally counter other combo deck like druid (warlock doesnt count I shouldn't feel forced to play warlock if I want to counter combo decks).
Halazzi could allow the marsh queen to be completed on its own, made more reliable by having 1 drops anyway. That seems pretty good to me
I can’t find the following info :
Will we receive a golden legendary card when the expansion comes out ?
Also, when will the Rumble Run mode be available ?
You get one of the Legendary Loa's on release day (not golden).
I dont have any confirmation on the Rumble Run, but basing off the past few expansions, its usually 2 weeks later.
I believe that Rumble Run will release on December 13th, but I forget where I saw that so I could be wrong.
The deck I am going to try first is Dragon warrior... In Wild!
Marsh Queen Hunters are gonna kill i this expansion, especially with Halazzi, the Lynx now in the mix.
The Marsh QueenQueen Carnassa
First time I pre-purchase expansion. And I think it is absolutely worth it. I love trolls, I love the Loa theme... Decent cards, nothing is insane value. A lot of new interesting decks to be made for classes, Like heal paladin, Spell shaman, Zuljin hunter, Discard warlock...
Eziest money of ma libe
I was a f2p player before Boomsday since Beta and bought the pre-order of Boomsday. Now I will pre-order this too it seems.
So, Be careful, it is a chain !!! :)
Ive played since beta and this is going to be the first expansion I do not pre-purchase :( HS has steadily been decreasing in quality and I feel this expansion is by far going to be the worst addition. I really hope not but it dont look bright to me atleast
Why? Cuz there's no RNG in this one? Just pure good ol' fashioned CCG ? What's decreasing in quality is the reveal stream, god it gets more boring every time
I'm really excited for this one. I liked Boomsday (I love Mechs), but wasn't to wild about The Witchwood. Pre-ordered all though. Cards are too cheap during the pre-order.
Zul'jin + multiple Explorer's Hat = infinite hats
