Details on the Loas
- Druid - Wardruid Loti, Champion of Gonk's Raptors
- Loti keeps her distance from the other Rumble competitors, preferring the company of her dinosaur loa Gonk and other scaled companions. Druids will discover that she’s a master of shapeshifting and claw-to-hand combat.
- Hunter - Zul'jin, Champion of Halazzi's Lynxs
- Warlord Zul’jin is reckless, bitter, and has a chip on his shoulder that’s even bigger than his blade. He’s is more than willing to unleash the primal power of Halazzi the Lynx loa upon his competitors, but he’s got a special knack for the mystical side of the hunt.
- Mage - Malacrass, Champion of Jan'alai's Dragonhawks
- The fury of Jan’alai the Dragonhawk loa fuels Malacrass’s fire on the Rumble field. Despite a flair for the dramatic, Malacrass is a clever opponent. He’ll give Mages who are willing to plan ahead access to useful resources.
- Paladin - High Priest Thekal, Champion of Shirvallah's Tigers
- This master fighter is a fan favorite! Wielding the Light as a weapon, he can use his healing energy in ways Paladins haven't seen before. Confident to a fault, Thekal moves almost as quickly as he talks, dancing around his opponents for the crowd.
- Priest - Princess Talanji, Champion of Bwonsamdi's Zombies
- As princess of the Zandalari Empire, Rastakhan’s own daughter calls the loa of the dead, Bwonsamdi, her companion. Talanji will aid Priests in turning their foes’ own might against them if forced to fight.
- Shaman - Zentimo, Champion of Krag'wa's Frogs
- The crowd finds this witch doctor mysterious, quiet, and more than a little unsettling. He’s content to let his giant frog loa, Krag’wa, do the fighting while he helps Shamans master channeling elemental magic.
- Rogue - Captain Hooktusk, Champion of Gral's Sharks
- This charming and flashy pirate has come ashore to claim her share of glory in the Rumble, and she’ll lie, cheat, and steal to get it! Rogues who choose Captain Hooktusk as their champion will find that she rarely goes anywhere without her loyal crew.
- Warlock - High Priestess Jeklik, Champion of Hir'eek's Bats
- The shrieking, shadow-skulking aspirant of the bat loa Hir’eek revels in the boos she gets from the crowd. Warlocks willing to make the right sacrifices will find Jeklik a useful champion who seems to be everywhere at once.
- Warrior - War Master Voone, Champion of Akali's Rhinos.
- Voone finds kindship in the rhino loa Akali. He’s a simple troll—he loves loud drums, a roaring crowd, and a raucous after-party—but his former employment by the Black Dragonflight will give Warriors special insight into the ways of dragons.

New Card Backs
There are two expansion-themed card backs coming. One for a pre-order and the other for full completion of Rumble Run.
Wow, so sweet. I asked this because my payday is at the end of the month, so I was curious will I still be able to buy it.
Lots of broken cards already...
This expansion is gonna be HUGE
Yup, the new 4 mana 8/8 demonstrates that.
Dragon Warrior!
I consider that this expansion is somehow buffing every quest card from un'goro
Man I hope you are right.
They have been crapping on Jungle Giants for consecutive expansions, all beginning with the Corridor Creeper nerf.
They give Druid insane combo potential while continuing to ignore their quest. Irritating.
i think this will be the best expansion yet, i have been waiting for a troll theme for so long!
please dont disappoint me blizzard!
I loved the arts of all cards. It seems it will be the best card art expansion for me.
It seems clear now that for this expansion each class is getting 2 separate gimmicks with some thematic/flavorful overlap, with each gimmick corresponding to one of the classes legendaries. The most obvious example of this is Warlock. The description for the bats reads:
We now know that Warlock's two gimmicks are hand-buffing (as shown by Hir'eek, the Bat and Spirit of the Bat) and discarding (as shown by High Priestess Jeklik and the 3 discard cards she was revealed alongside). Both have some secondary connection in that they both have copy effects and involve "sacrificing".
Now although it's not as obvious for the other classes I still think we can make predictions about the divergent gimmicks of the other classes, and in some cases even which legendaries they correspond to. I made a post similar to this earlier but the key difference this time is the knowledge that there are TWO class themes instead of one, as well as the presence of new information from cards.
Druid- I predict that one of Druid's class themes will be the Savagery we see from Savage Striker. Furthermore, I predict that this will be the theme of Wardruid Loti based on the fact that she is "a master of shapeshifting and claw-to-hand combat." It is not certain what Gonk, the Raptor's theme is although Ironhide Direhorn may or not be a hint to a beast theme.
Mage- We already know that one of Mage's themes this set is hero power synergy as shown by Jan'alai, the Dragonhawk, and associated cards. I hold from my prior post and the fact that Peter Whalen confirmed on stream today that these are the only four mage Hero Power cards, that mage's other theme is in some way connected to planning or prior turns (???). I'm not sure what that means but Hex Lord Malacrass is a weird card.
I won't give my explanations for the rest of these categories but they're mostly obvious I think.
ArmorRushPretty sure Paladin themes are spells (including buffs) and something to do with heal
yup, seems to be the case from the 4 mana 8/8 today. updating
Priest might be spells or spell generation since we got Grave horror. last try in getting dragon soul to work.
Shaman might be single target spells because the 1/3 make's spells target adjusting minions. both Buff/debuffs. for example hex and rockbiter. the only revealed spell also help with it. it makes 3 minions to buff. alternatively it might be 3 matters.
I thought about that but the description for Priest doesn't seem to suggest that even a little bit.
My guess is that each class will get 4 cards for each gimmick (total of 8 cards per class) and then the last 2 cards that are just whatever. If we get a second spell synergy card for Priest I would be inclined to agree.
Ye, and Shaman will just be weird once again. Maybe the weirdest with this Zentimo boy!
seems like the warrior themes are dragons and rush
updated
Cards from today's stream can be found in the guide now!
Jeez! How old are you?
Overkill only works while attacking correct? Not when being attacked into by the opponent? That 5/3 with overkill draw 2 cards could mill you if your opponent kills it with 3 1/1's.
Overkill does only work while attacking. Scalper will only draw when it attacks, and not when its being attacked.
