Expansion Info
- Loas! Each class is getting one of the ancient spirits that the Trolls worship.
- Spirits are a new mechanic - each class has one. They are minions with stealth for one turn.
- Overkill is a new keyword. If you deal more damage than the amount of remaining health a minion has, the effect will activate.
- The $50 pre-order brings a new cosmetic shaman hero to the game - King Rastakhan.
- In the single-player mode for Rastakhan’s Rumble, Rumble Run, compete for glory before cheering crowds in a no-holds-barred smackdown in the Gurubashi Arena! Players will choose a troll champion and climb the ranks in this gladiatorial contest to be crowned champion.

Details on the Loas
- Druid - Wardruid Loti, Champion of Gonk's Raptors
- Loti keeps her distance from the other Rumble competitors, preferring the company of her dinosaur loa Gonk and other scaled companions. Druids will discover that she’s a master of shapeshifting and claw-to-hand combat.
- Hunter - Zul'jin, Champion of Halazzi's Lynxs
- Warlord Zul’jin is reckless, bitter, and has a chip on his shoulder that’s even bigger than his blade. He’s is more than willing to unleash the primal power of Halazzi the Lynx loa upon his competitors, but he’s got a special knack for the mystical side of the hunt.
- Mage - Malacrass, Champion of Jan'alai's Dragonhawks
- The fury of Jan’alai the Dragonhawk loa fuels Malacrass’s fire on the Rumble field. Despite a flair for the dramatic, Malacrass is a clever opponent. He’ll give Mages who are willing to plan ahead access to useful resources.
- Paladin - High Priest Thekal, Champion of Shirvallah's Tigers
- This master fighter is a fan favorite! Wielding the Light as a weapon, he can use his healing energy in ways Paladins haven't seen before. Confident to a fault, Thekal moves almost as quickly as he talks, dancing around his opponents for the crowd.
- Priest - Princess Talanji, Champion of Bwonsamdi's Zombies
- As princess of the Zandalari Empire, Rastakhan’s own daughter calls the loa of the dead, Bwonsamdi, her companion. Talanji will aid Priests in turning their foes’ own might against them if forced to fight.
- Shaman - Zentimo, Champion of Krag'wa's Frogs
- The crowd finds this witch doctor mysterious, quiet, and more than a little unsettling. He’s content to let his giant frog loa, Krag’wa, do the fighting while he helps Shamans master channeling elemental magic.
- Rogue - Captain Hooktusk, Champion of Gral's Sharks
- This charming and flashy pirate has come ashore to claim her share of glory in the Rumble, and she’ll lie, cheat, and steal to get it! Rogues who choose Captain Hooktusk as their champion will find that she rarely goes anywhere without her loyal crew.
- Warlock - High Priestess Jeklik, Champion of Hir'eek's Bats
- The shrieking, shadow-skulking aspirant of the bat loa Hir’eek revels in the boos she gets from the crowd. Warlocks willing to make the right sacrifices will find Jeklik a useful champion who seems to be everywhere at once.
- Warrior - War Master Voone, Champion of Akali's Rhinos.
- Voone finds kindship in the rhino loa Akali. He’s a simple troll—he loves loud drums, a roaring crowd, and a raucous after-party—but his former employment by the Black Dragonflight will give Warriors special insight into the ways of dragons.

New Card Backs
There are two expansion-themed card backs coming. One for a pre-order and the other for full completion of Rumble Run.
You forgot Call to Arms that is still pretty good, Shrink Ray and Prismatic Lens that is insane of a combo. This card has potential of 0 mana Zilliax
Also we don't know any other Paly cards, maybe there is some nice calue spells for 4-7 mana
We've seen one of the champions so far: Hex Lord Malacrass, and interestingly his description is very specific to what his card does.
Mage - Malacrass, Champion of Jan'alai's Dragonhawks
Malacrass gives you cards in the late game based on a decision you make early on. This might mean all of the descriptions describe their card's effects:
For Druid;
"Distance" word makes me think she might have stealth. "Company of her loa and other scaled companions" makes me think that she has beast synergy and "Master Shapeshifter" makes me think like she has choose one effect.
For Hunter;
can't guess anything.
For Paladin;
"using Light as weapon and using healing energy in ways Paladins haven't seen before" phrase is obvious that he has an effect like " Your spells that heals now damages instead" like Auchenai Soulpriest. Spell synergy with Shirvallah, the Tiger also fits the theme and he also might have rush or charge because of " moves almost as quickly as he speaks" phrase.
for Priest;
The effect might be probably "Whenever you destroy an enemy minion, summon a copy of it"
for Shaman;
Krag'wa will have probably taunt and Zentimo will have an effect like Ragnaros the Firelord.
Krag'wa will protect Zentimo while he is channelling his spells according to description. That channelling might be adding damage spells to your hand or dealing damage. I can't guess that far.
For Rogue;
"She rarely goes anywhere without her loyal crew" might mean an effect like "your pirates costs (x) less. "
for Warlock;
i can say that your guessing is wrong and it won't be an effect similar to Hir'eek, the Bat. Description says "Warlocks willing to make the right sacrifices" so it might be an effect like "Battlecry: Destroy a friendly minion, give its attack and health to random minion in your hand"
For Warrior;
I agreed that this one is self-explanatory but we don't have so much Black dargons. Onyxia and Deathwing for standard only. That means we will have some black dragons.
For the priest, I bet it'll be summon a 1/1 copy of an enemy minion that died, instead of a copy. Bleh.
I think High Priestess Jeklik probably has an effect which generates copies of her in the hand. Perhaps something along the lines of "Battlecry: add a copy of this minion to your hand. It keeps any enchantments."
Highly doubt the paladin heal one,paladin has acces to 2 healing cards that dont have to target his face.I would assume the new form of healing woud be changing overheling to armor perhaps?
So the Loas (totem animals) are lynx, tiger, shark... and a zombie? What kind of spirit animal is that? Can it be a zombie of a lynx or a tiger? Doesn't that make it a bit redundant?
Zombie - isn't a being. It's a state. Thing can be alive, dead or zombie. Maybe something else. Tiger can be a zombie. Human can be a zombie. Troll can be a zombie. But zombie has to be something from the start.
Don't make it about me. I just find this illogical. That's all. Love the animal totem team concept.
Calling names people on the Internet is just not cool. Even if someone disagrees with you.
So by the descriptions we're getting Dragon Warrior, Pirate Rogue and Deathrattle Priest.
Warlock going Girlpower with Glinda Crowskin, Rin, the First Disciple, Dr. Morrigan, Blood-Queen Lana'thel and, I guess, Clutchmother Zavas. That's a whole standard rotation when the new one comes out!
Bought the Bundle, how come still not in my collection??
wait a bit. there will be an update in the future that will add the cardpacks to the game. you will be able to see the packs once this update comes live.
I just bought pre-purchase but can't find my 50 packs and hero skin in-game. Is it too soon to check them out?
Yeah I don't think any of it has been added in-game yet.
You'll need to wait for a patch. Likely to arrive Tuesday next week, if not Monday.
A gnome on a dinosaur card confirmed
Dragon Warrior AND Control Paladin?! HELL YES
Yeah, that's the first thing my gf said when the trailer was shown. I thought it reminded me of something! The new trailer is awesome! And Roger...is Roger.
