Strategy
- The entire fight revolves around you throwing down Enrage minions and Grobbulus, hopefully, hitting you with his Poison Cloud or you losing your Death's Bite.
- Grobbulus runs several Acidic Swamp Ooze, so make sure when you drop Death's Bite you immediately swing with it to get extra value.
- Don't use Death's Bite unless you have minions on the field which can benefit from the Deathrattle.
- Don't be afraid to attack with your weapon into Abominations, but make sure you have an Enrage minion which will survive the AoE.
- Use Rampage to buff up your damaged minions, especially before popping an Abomination!
- Armorsmith is a great sustainability drop when you have several minions on the board which will be effected by Poison Cloud or Death's Bite's Deathrattle.
Your Deck
Class challenges have a specially crafted deck that you must use to complete them. This deck is temporarily given to you by the game so you do not need to own the cards to complete the challenge. Below you can find the contents of your new deck.

I've seen Grobbulus use BOTH of his Cold Bloods on his Leper Gnome on his turn 2... to attack my Unstable Ghoul that I summoned previously, during my turn 2. I was amused.
I have just been trying to complete this challenge and came here for advice. It should be noted that the deck referenced on 08/12/14 has been changed. These cards are no longer in the warrior deck:
They have been replaced by:
Six cards have been replaced by seven, bringing the deck up to a full 30 cards.
Few days ago I bought Construct Quarter, finished all bosses at the same day, but this class challenge is terrible.... still trying... -.-
I played this like 3 times and lost to his stupid echoing ooze then on the 4th time, I got an enraged worgen with 2x rampage on turn 3 and just won the game.
Yes this class is horrible. I found the other classes to be fun playing with the new cards, but after losing to this bastard multiple times just hoping you will get lucky I have had no luck.
And then right after posting this I killed it extremely easily...
All this movie really showed my is you just have to keep trying until you get lucky. I lost half a dozen games where he opened with either Leper Gnome and then Mutating Injection on it round two, or Gnome + cold blood or a at the very least a turn 2 dancing swords. The warrior deck you have to play has basically no way to deal with that. Tried one more time after watching this video and finally got lucky and beat it but it was just that lucky. His start wasn't as good and he waste a cold blood by using it on a mob and then attacking a taunt minion that killed it. I still could have lost it if he had oozed + Injection or Ooze + Injection x2.
I love the second turn 6/5 Leper Gnomes that he gets out.
I found it very hard and annoying. Grobbulus is not an easy boss and the challenge deck is very bad. Even if he does not open with bonker plays you can get stuck with lots of useless 3 drops and situational spells in hand.
I beat it in the 5th try but it was a pain. Not fun at all.
Totally agree, the way to beat the challenge is to mash your face into it untill you get a good draw and Grob a crap draw without mutation injections/oozes + cold bloods in the first turns
I've played him 4 times, every one of those 4 games he's had BOTH injection and Cold Blood early on....
Worst challenge! This is so fucking annoying when you lose turn 4-5 because he played Leper+Cold Blood+Mutating Injection or Ooze+mutating injection+cold blood, and what you can do with it? Fucking nothing!
I find this challenge quite frustrating rather than fun. Enrage creatures don't do much because they have low health and Grobbulus has a lot of taunt. The Ooze combo was really hard to deal with and he could easily swarm the board since you don't have many board clearer.I died at turn 4 once because he played a Leaper Gnome + Mutating Injection + 2 x Cold blood
Exceptionally fun... unless he does Echoing Ooze + that card that gives +4/+4 & Taunt in back to back turns... 3 games in a row...
