Gluth Boss Guide
Gluth is the twelfth boss in the Curse of Naxxramas adventure. He resides in the Construct Quarter.
Heroic Difficulty Strategy
Gluth is a scary boss on Heroic Mode. He will devour you with Jaws, and it will also grow strong as his Deathrattle minions trigger. You do not want to keep your own Deathrattle minions to an absolute minimum to avoid increasing his weapon damage. Acidic Swamp Ooze or Harrison Jones can make quick work of Jaws, but you're still going to need to deal with his minions. Make sure you only use the weapon removals after you have killed off his Deathrattle minions, it will negate the buffs!
Zombie Chow should be killed when you are at a health deficit and he either doesn't have a weapon equipped or right before / after you've destroy his weapon. Silencing his minions is helpful in avoiding the extra damage gains on his hero power.

My version of Shield Pally, worked like a charm on the first attempt! :)
Worked like a charm, thank you!
Had no luck with other decks mentioned before 'cause replacing missing legendaries with other stuff just didn't seem to work, so made my own with just the cards that are available to me. And on a second attempt Gluth didn't draw agressively, summoned several Chows, I've managed to freeze everything for a couple of turns and finally got him.
The deck I've used:
Updated with new cards, Divine Pally:
Cool, thanks guys
Still manage to make it with lvl 4 pally and this simple deck:
Divine shield is your friend in this one but... First need to have Acidic Swamp Ooze then its good to have Explosive Sheep to kill of his board (which should be already crawling with 3-health minions, including Unstable Ghoul - they will kill each other), once he gets out of cards it's just a fun ride.
Didnt even need legendaries.
Thanks got it first time with this deck :) only 3 more left and heroic is done.
Dude. Amazing Deck. One shot. +1!
Tough fight! We used a budget Paladin deck to beat him, and made a guide based on it. Hope it helps!
This guy was giving me fits, lost about a dozen times to him. I looked at some guides but they didn't seem especially helpful since I don't have the Alexstrasza. After thinking about it I threw together a shaman deck and it was perfect. I ended up winning with 30 life. I ran lots of silences for his taunt/board clear minions, hexed the big guys, had a few of the 3/1 divine shield minions for clearing out his guys, and a few youthful brewmasters to not only get the divine shield back but bounce the oozes back to my hand to destroy his weapon. After letting him beat on me for a few turns with his army of zombie chows I just wiped it with a single lightning storm and filled back up my life.
he used 4 jaws on heroic
LOL, 9 games against Gluth with delay mage deck above. Have not done a single point of damage to him. I'm usually dead by the 5th turn. Deck is pure junk.
Beat on first try with an agressive mage with oozes, divine shields and board clear. (controling his board, sunwalkers pretty much soloed him, try to play Duplicate with them)
Have had absolute aweful luck......he plays 4 jaws against me nearly every time I try. I get a few minions on the board to start attacking him and he drops an Abom to $*** in my cereal and wipe my board.......going try some more after work today, wish me luck.
Finally got him...........took forever........i got an absolute perfect draw, perfect counter to every play he made. Yay!!
Beat him with this priest deck:
If you get a Auchenai out and clear the field and weapon, you're more or less set for the rest of the game. Thoughtstealing Jaw is also really nice.
What is the point of having SW:D in this deck? there are no Valid targets for his deck
Ops, mistake when uploading. Must have confused it with my other priest deck.
Those SW:D's are supposed to be Sludge Belchers
